You forgot to check the door in burgles lab. Also there should be something in burgles science shop about molars it’s really helpful. The switch you pulled in the haze opened the door for you to fight the infected lady bug but there is a door in the pond that you can open now that you have the key card. Also if you check the wall next to the milk cartoon on the right side of the map you’ll see something neat. Last thing is the waft emitter is to help you far bug parts just be carful

The black ant lab is around the trash cans on the left. You are able to plug the gas leaking in the haze just not recommended for new players. Also I recommend that you thoroughly search the trash cans with a fresh gas mask because when you break the rotting food it damages your mask but is needed to in order to get the loot from the area. Also you can tame regular gnats, weevils, and aphids (gnats need meat slurry, weevils is mushroom slurry, and aphids is the plants slurry)

Now that you have access to bombs I recommend staying stocked on those because there’s a lot of spots through out the game where you’ll need a bomb, also if you kill all the ants then go back later there will be more eggs trying to replenish their numbers. Also you should go back to the milk carton and analyze the stone wall next to it, you’ll find something their that’s pretty cool. Another thing is you should make the red ant club it’s the better version of the spiked club but doesn’t cause the bleed effect.

So just a heads up, there’s about 3 more molars in the hedge lab that you didn’t see, 1 is on the juice box at the first zip line in the beginning of the lab, the other 2 are on outside/top of the main lab. You’ll have to explore the top of the main lab to find them also there’s a molar in the bird bath as well. There’s an easy molar inside of burgles lab inside the battery room, and there’s one guarded by a wolf spider outside the tree and one inside the tree but you can’t get that one just yet. Also try to explore the other side of the lower yard now that you have tier 2 armor😂🫡 P.s. you can make sap collectors and they can attach to any piece of “wood” that produces sap which includes the sticks around the yard that have sap on them. Makes it easier to gather sap which you’ll find you’ll need a lot over time.

Now that you have access to molars and your next step is the haze, I recommend that you get tier two armor which my opinion the best is the lady bug armor and upgrading it because the haze lab is gonna be difficult not just finding it but beating it, also I recommend going back to the hedge and getting the molars because you will also need those if you wanna survive the haze lab. Also another thing is you can get crow feathers with your new axe which will get you a better ranged weapon and ammunition than your tier one bow and arrows.

I would say you made great progress this episode, also you can only get spider fangs from wolf spiders. Also the bugs won’t just attack the base you’re currently at they will go after anything you have placed on the map, that’s why building on the lily pads is another good reason because it limits what kinda of bugs that can raid you for example only flying bugs will be able to get to you. Also do not fully connect your bridge because creature can use that too, last thing you want is a wolf spider walking across your bridge to get to you and stay away from the edge of the Lilly pad when they are walking around because if they sense you they will jump across

Don’t be scared to fight enemies, because it’s very easy to run from them and perfect blocking negates all fall damage, also the red ant club is a very strong early game weapon.

Good tip for fighting ladybugs, you can usually get 3 hits in with a hammer before you need to block, also they have a move where it looks like they are about attack but they will roar instead and heal a portion of health. Also sense you’re on medium mode from what I’ve noticed from playing the game the wolf spiders around the tree sleep during the day and come out at night but they can be woken up and if so sometimes they walk around before going to where they were to sleep. You can find sunken bones on the bottom floor of the pond which is underneath your lily pad base so if you swim down from youre base you’ll see an opening which you can find bones there but caution you’ll need a gill tube and a shovel first so that you can breath long enough to get them and dig them up

Some hints that could help is •there’s a chance to get tier two bug loot from breaking spider egg sacks but it will spawn 3-4 spiderlings and if you break too many you annoy the orb weavers •also there’s a way for you to cheese the wolf spiders in the oak tree but you will need a a lot of arrows if you plan on using the tier 1 bow and arrows •when exploring the pond be carful because you can’t kill the koi fish but it can kill you but from my experience if you have the right equipment you can put swim it and or just get on a Lilly pad and it will leave. Another thing is people get annoyed with finding the entrance to the lab area so I recommend swimming around the floor of the pond underneath your Lilly pad base

So an easy way to get tier two bug parts with out going through the hassle of killing them is by breaking the spider egg sacks, those can have tier two parts in them, also I recommend building the jerky rack to make your berry leather, if you craft berry leather it take 3 chunks for 1 leather where if you use the jerky rack it’s a 1 for 1 just takes time to dry out that’s all

I’m glad to find a new grounded player, if you continue to play hopefully these tips will help. •you can only get weed stems with a tier 1 axe from dandelions •when in a battle, when you see the bug/creature pull back that means they are about to attack, that’s the window you want to learn to block. Doing so can cause a perfect block (perfect party) which means you take no damage and you weapons don’t get damaged either. •peeping creatures is very important! •In the beginning most people don’t realize that they need to go to the explosion to progress, the explosion is on the side of the tree towards the pond, not the underneath. •THE SAFEST PLACE TO BUILD A BEGINNER BASE IS ON THE LILY PADS ON THE POND! •inside some field stations and some structure you’ll see granola bars, those can heal you and give you hunger but they don’t respond once grabbed or consumed. •leaving food in chests or roasting spits can attracts ants and they can eat your food in chests or roasting spots also in your death bag. •also trail markers are a helpful way to leave multiple way points.
