I always thought Hawkeye in MASH with the chicken/baby in the final episode was the most cry worthy, but damn! This gives it a real nudge!

The original CSI is rarely recognized for acting,but this two part episode features strong performances by Gary Dourdan, Marg Helgenberger, and William Petersen. But the strongest and most powerful performance was given by George Eads, always good as Nick .Here he fully conveys the terror to Nick feels at being buried alive and eaten alive by fire ants. You believe it because of George's full commitment to his role in this story and he also conveys his complete faith in his friends. Credit must also b given the superb direction by the great Quentin Tarantino !!!

This was awful how could you bury someone alive its demonic in my opinion because nobody who is human could do that to another person

The early seasons were the best, in my view. This was one of the best episodes of the entire CSI franchise. It was an emotional roller coaster from start to finish.

Who would do such a psychotic thing to someone ?!? I did not see this episode, however, the creators of CSI should create a mini movie with all of the remaining previous cast members from every CSI show.

This was the first time i remember seeing a man broken and vulnerable and have him not be shamed for it. I truly believed his fear and anguish when i first watched it, and George Eads has forever been my favorite character of any of these shows

Has anyone else noticed how often it rains on CSI episodes. It just doesn't rain that often in Las Vegas! Come on, you would think the show was in Seattle. And I don't think it even rains that much in Seattle! I love CSI! I have all the episodes on dvd, all 15 seasons! ...it just doesn't rain anywhere near as much in Las Vegas.

I didn't see this episode I only saw the preview of it and seeing them finally be able to rescue Nick gets me scared at times. One of the things that I am most claustrophobic about is not being able to move my hands or my feet or being confined to a place or even have in my ears plugged up. I couldn't even bear being handcuffed by the police. They wanted to do an MRI on me last week at the hospital but I couldn't bear laying there with my ears plugged up. So I definitely know I wouldn't be able to bear this and if I had a gun in there with me like Nick that I probably would have went on to pull the trigger on my forehead. Can somebody explain why the person abducted Nick and buried him alive?
@richardwashington4664 Жыл бұрын
Hi @jssstephenson. I can’t imagine what you go through when you’re claustrophobic. I pray that you are going to be okay. To answer your question, Nick was abducted and buried alive for revenge because apparently the perpetrator’s daughter was locked up by the CSIs previously. But his vengeance wasn’t solely on Nick; anyone of CSIs present at the time of the abduction would have been buried alive. If you have Hulu, CSI episodes are streamed in their entirety including this one.

Gezellig means = A vibe
@PhilipVN Жыл бұрын
The linguistically/etymologically/lexically most accurate one-word translation of gezellig is 'companionable'. Maybe also 'sociable' or 'social', as long as there is an included connotation of pleasant companionship or company. Gezellig compresses in one word the notion of an enjoyable time in the company of people who are warmly friendly towards each other. So 'cosy' applies in that sense of 'cozy companionship'. Gezel in Dutch literally means companion. Gezellig is the adjectivized version of that substantive.
