No. I can't stand that "modern" beat of this version of Looking Through The Eys of Love. It just lacks grandure. Nothing to touch the heart, only to make listeners bob their heads to the beat. The singer's voice sounded like a kitten trying to sing. No power to bring out the meaingfulness of the lyrics. I'd rate this 0.21/10.

skated when i was young, played junior b but i was drawn back to skating. i never made it, life happened and things changed but i will always have a place for ice skating. nearly 60 but putting on a set of skates and 200 feet of ice is a joy i cant explain. no crowds, no music just a chance to express feelings that are usually kept away from day to day.

This is one movie that did not need a pale imitation remake, it still stands up today and the singer, while talented, is a pale imitation of Melissa Manchester.

I’ve never seen this version but saw the original when it first came out. I can still see him, Robbie Benson, telling her…We forgot about the flowers. So much more emotion in that version. Think it lost something in this one.

I just stumbled upon this, so glad I did. The original was absolutely my favorite. David Huffman played in the original,which makes slightly biased. My mom ,Donna Kannall was a friend of miss.Opal Huffman, David's Mom. I remember when David and his wife Phylis,come for a visit with David's mother in Shattuc I'll. They would stop by my grandparents farm. I will never forget getting the news of David's murder.

The 1978 version of "Ice Castles" is the only version I've seen and I plan on keeping it that way. No disrespect intended for the update but nothing is better than hearing the voice of Melissa Manchester belting out this song!!
