Rock Hudson was a great actor. He was the most masculine man in film.

1956 was the year I was born... I love reading books of Hollywood past, all the way to the silent years.... this seems to be the last group of the elegant start, by 1970 they were passe, so to speak. .. we are now calling people like Sean from the bachalor a star... what aa great loss.... the tail end of the studio system that cultivated real talent, into great stars.

@xxholly1095x The song before "Hold Me in Your Arms" is "Ready Willing and Abel". These two songs were back to back on the issued recording. In England the hit was "Hold Me in Your Arms" in the USA it was "Ready Willing and Abel" Great songs for Doris Day.

I just finished watching It Happened to Jane starring Doris Day and Jack Lemmon...such a great film :)! I love how Doris always portrays intellectual, hard working and independent women (for her time, anyway). She is so great at that. Also, I just love all the films she did with Rock Hudson and The Thrill of it All with James Garner is absolutely hilarious! She truly is a Hollywood gem of a leading lady :).
