Hi Angela, thank you for sharing your recipe. This is my first time here, but I'm really enjoying all of the different soups in this collab. Your idea about the rice would help tone the spice level down for you as would some pasta instead of rice. Also some red bell peppers would be good as well as other colors of bell pepper. That would add some sweetness to counteract the spiciness. I applaud you for trying a new recipe, rather than sticking to a tried and true recipe. It reminds me of something I would do. I would say it was a success because your husband loved it. So anyway, thank you again. I enjoyed the video and seeing your cute little dog. What a cutie! ❤Claire (Bobby's wife) Mississippi Gulf Coast

I have PSTD (PEPPER) from grinding and crushing the red peppers my Mom canned for crab boils! No rubber gloves at the time! PS Cilantro Lime rice is a favorite at the grandchildren's b-days!

I like Spicy. Not constantly, but like once a week or less. This would be a Tame one, for me, as i have eaten raw a Reaper. THAT one got to me! Lol Everything else is easy peasy. But! I have a suggestion for anyone who cant Do this heat, but want to Make it. Put in butter! In your bowl, if nothing else. Add more Sour Cream. Never put this on an empty stomach, if you are Sensitive. Bites of bread and butter, square of cheese, thicken the soup and put over noodles or rice. The Key is, Dairy in tummy First. Then you wont get the heaving Response! Milk works the best. The fat in the Dairy cuts the Pepper Oils. So dont expect margarine or skim milk to help! 😂 I can eat them raw. It IS a challenge since i have no teeth! I have the pepper in my mouth at least double time! No matter the heat level? Heaving Response happens ON an empty tummy.

A spicy pepper soup would definitely warm you up. Soup is so good when the weather gets crispy. I think the recipe asked for white pepper because it has a milder flavor.
