Saw them back in the late 80s at a small club called the Anthrax in Norwalk Ct that night they became my fave band of all time

Luckiest Song ever written. This track convinced THOM WILSON to offer FZ 25k to sign after hearing it. He thought he was getting a WHITE BLUES BAND, not realizing what a Freak Frank was. Still, he went to Bat and got the advance and MGM/VERVE was the lucky label. This was not the version they played at the Whiskey in 66. Must be a reworked one from the later years

This song should have been produced so much more simply. It shouldn’t have been much more than her and her guitar for most of it. I’m talking about the final production. It’s a good song.

Thanks for posting this! I was there last Saturday. This is the best solo I’ve heard him play on this tune. He killed that shit! The whole show great

When I went to college in the 1980s there was a used record store near the university that I haunted. I walked into the shop one day and without a word the proprietor dropped the needle of his phonograph on this track. I silently handed him my checkbook and bowed before his greatness.

Decent capture. I didn't know Denny Walley played at any of these shows. He wasn't at any of the three I went to: Hudson Falls, NY; Pawtucket, RI; Pawling, NY. I did see him with Project/Object a few times about 6 years ago. The youngsters at these shows from Paul Green Rock Academy are all *very* talented. Saw Zappa a bunch of times from 1976-1988. Fun stuff.

Thanks for bothering Joe. It's nice to have such a good view of the drummer. To my ears, he is the perfect drummer for them. Previous drummers pushed the tempo up a bit too much, but this guy is perfect.
