We ball danced to this song during our ho’olaulea back in my 6th grade year. Im in love with this song just from the nostalgia it brings to my ears 😌
My 2x great Grandmother high Chiefess Elizabeth Keawepo'oole Sumner co wrote this with the Queen. Just discovered this history fact a couple years ago🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Kapeka was my GG aunt. Such a beautiful rendition of her song.

I love this beautiful song so much. The melody, the harmonies, it’s just such a pretty song. I don’t like the sour notes at the very end as much but oh well LOL. I could listen to this 100 times on a row

One of my mom's favorite songs. She worked at QLCC for many years before retiring at 65. She loved all of the Queens music.

Ah I remember this I was like 7 or 8 and my Aunties friend had an electronic dancing one (like those singing fish) which looked kinda creepy. I also remember Tiny computers, Yahoo and AOL been more prominent back then than they are today.
