Hey Pat, I love your thoughtful content and sober yet entertaining style. I loved your version of "Hotstepper" but man that is one earworm. I foolishly went to the original video and double dosed on catchiness. Usually I can get my brain out of such songs, by singing "Gilligan's Island" or the "Flintstones" themes. Hope you continue to provide us with wit and wisdom. Went to grad school in Gettysburg and have relatives in Allentown. SIncerely from Titletown, Cheesehead Joshua.

Im a huge fan of Finnerty pranking that ridiculous man Rick Beato but why are they covering this horrible song here?!
@mostlyharmless882 жыл бұрын
horrible? this was/is a fucking great pop song. And Beato isn't ridiculous -- his lessons are since they're way over the head of most amateurs walking. But his opinions are MOSTLY on point -- save for some shit-rock examples.

What's the quick summary of what happened between Pat & Beato?
@adrock10112 жыл бұрын
@@jackallenproductions pat respects beato… and beatos yt content… beato will often break down songs with their chord signatures… so pat will also do that, but when he does, he references beato (in a sign of reapect)…. So he will say, for example… “this song is a 1-7-3-5 chord progression (beato)”… At a live show (possibly this one?) he was between songs and mentioned something about a song that he liked… and a person in the crowd shouted out “beato!!!”… pat couldnt hear it from the stage but later heard it clear as day on the video… he would name this person the “beato bandit” due to his cunning and thus far, elusiveness. Thats the short story… some details may be off, but thats it
