OP is being too nice to the cheating wife. He needs to understand that she is now his ENEMY in this. He needs to take every penny in any support for the kids because they will need it, whether for child care of eventual college funds. She sold the kids transportation out from under the family, make her pay for part of the down payment for the replacement. Tell everyone what she has done abandoning her children. Use the fact that AP is wealthy to get her to agree to a better asset division. And as has been stated, will just be a matter of time until AP cheats or replaces her.

Anyone who's going to be a CEO or run their own business HAS to be driven and put most of their time into their work. There are women out there who understand and support this. The cost is his time. The reward is a nice lifestyle. Such women would have a great relationship with OP. My son, an apprentice electrician, is the opposite - no ambition. He goes to work, does a great job, occasionally does overtime, but when work is done he wants to go do his own thing. Still proud of him because at 20 years old he's already got his career and purposes figured out, and not wasting time with girls at this point - he's establishing himself. I'm in between. Not quite enough energy to build a business from scratch or run a company, but willing to put in considerably more than the 40 hours per week when needed to get projects done, etc. Everything about life is give and take. Do what's right for you.
