This is such an interesting track...even when viewed through a wash of rain. The front "straight" (curve?) seems positively terrifying, very fast and ending into an off-camber. You show some solid moves in this one but also the patience and maturity to bring it home unbent.

Wasn't the best of weekend race conditions, I'd say it was a wash out :D - We're down for IPKC next year, so maybe we might get to race again.

Yikes! LLandow is probably the last track I would want to drive in the wet--those tyre walls.

The engine looked like it was bogging down, was the jet settings correct on the Carb or was it down to the Carb just needing to be changed. What's the gear ratio for a Cadet iame waterswift unrestricted for this track, my 10 year old son is practicing there next weekend, I was thinking 10/77 or possibly 10/76, I just can't find gear ratio for iame water swift on this track.

Hi Jason, our experience was pretty limited back then, we knew about the high and low jetting but never really ventured into playing with it. We moved straight from IAME Cadet into Junior Rotax back then, so never got to touch the waterswift, so don't know what setup you'd need. I'd put something out on a facebook forum, asking for some help, there's always someone who will respond.

No problem thx for replying anyway, i will find out somehow. Interesting fact about that track and I'm not sure if it's true or not it's just what I have been told so it could be a made up story. Apparently the reason this track is used anticlockwise is because someone once died there, it had something to do with corner 3 which is a fast corner when coming out of the straight but if you do it clock wise then you go through that fast corner into the straight which you will know from seeing it is very unforgiving because it's got concrete walls at ether side of the straight, so hitting them will obviously do some serious damage at high speed.

Supreme car control at the ragged edge! First lap misfortune at least gave your viewers this fine clear track performance. You kids trying to learn Fulbeck should pay special attention to Sam's entry onto the front straight; watch that throttle foot!

Your current level of driving skill is just a joy to behold, Sam, especially now that it's consistently displayed at the front of the field. All the finesse and confidence are in place to make your racecraft appear almost easy to those who don't know how hard it is to develop.

As a non kart driver and only done rental go karting a couple times with a 200cc go kart this is so fast and the way you drive is amazing. Keep going
