After seeing Dallas talking about the book, i ordered 2 copies of it from Amazon, 1 for my grandchildren and the other i gave to our Sunday School teacher. . I'd never heard of it here in the UK. It is a great book, i hope to be able to read it to my grandchildren this Christmas

Just saw this movie yesterday with my youth group- so incredibly proud of all this young actors and actresses. Bring tissues because you with laugh , you will cry , you will wonder where this movie was you're whole life- this is an INCREDIBLE film.

Saw it today with a friend. It was captivating, funny, and sweet. It moved me to tears at the end. I want to get the DVD when it comes out so I can watch it every year!

I have on DVD the one from 1986 but KZbin wants the one from 1983 the Best Christmas Pageant ever it has Loretta Swit, she reads the book to the kids it by Barbara Robinson. It's a 60 mins. Television Representative inc. i think it's rare.

wow the MAIN actress from the Chosen who plays Mary Magdalene just used the word 'channeled' or channeling in an interview - that's what people do in the occult, channeling is demonic. Channeling anything does not come from Christ! There are so so many false believers it breaks my heart.

Saw it a few days ago. Great movie. I laughed and later had some kind of liquid running down my cheeks multiple times. Really brought home the meaning of Christmas. So good.

My wife and I saw the movie yesterday. Just an awesome job by everyone. The kids were fabulous. We loved every minute of it. It’s a great family movie I encourage everyone to see and to encourage your family and friends to see it.

I was in the best Christmas pageant ever at my community theatre while doing the best Christmas pageant ever the cast mates where fun to do the production with and I loved doing the play with them and now I can brang and say I went to go see the play I was at in my community theatre days so thank you cast of the best Christmas pageant ever .

It’s a great story. I read it to my daughters every year when they were young. They are now in their mid-thirties and we saw the movie last night. Yup- I cried again. Don’t miss it!

I am planning to go see this movie but not until after Thanksgiving. When I was a teacher I would read this book to my students every year and then when I had my own children I would read it to them (now 16-29 years old) every year. After we finished the book we would watch the early 80's movie version with Loretta Swit as Grace. It is a short made for television movie. I think it was called an ABC after school special. Does anyone else remember this movie? It is really good movie too:)!!!

I don't trust this man. I won't watch the chosen because it's not biblically accurate. It depicts Jesus completely as weak and needing help writing the sermon on the mount. Something is really concerning about all of this attention for the chosen. I pray people will start truly reading the Bible and gain discernment.

How do you know it’s not biblically accurate if you haven’t watched it? Of course it’s not a line by line scripture reading, but the artistic license doesn’t create any conflicts with what scripture actually says, for example, it very clearly says that Mary Magdalene, and the other women make oil to support Jesus’s ministry in scripture. And in the TV series, they spend a quarter of an episode on this. It helps you realize what’s really in scripture and remember it. I assume the reason why you don’t watch it is because someone pushed you to not watch it. I’ve seen people try to tear the body of Christ apart. That’s what I would more so be worried about and avoid.

This is a film, and not to give away spoilers, about how some people are so focused on the wrong things that they miss what God’s actually encouraging. I pray that you truly noticed those parts of scripture and don’t miss out on God answering your prayers, because he’s not doing it exactly how you would want him to do it.

Personally, I started reading my Bible more after watching the Chosen. I've heard this of others as well. It's not meant to replace the scripture but to flesh out the one or two sentences we read. Better than any secular series for sure

Did you notice in this interview at about 13:25 this actress literally used the word 'channeled' when he asked her how she gets into character?? Like channeling? Seriously? That's what people do when they are trying to attract demons. So fishy

Is this coming to dvd?? I really hope it is, this reminds me of A Christmas Story with the way the movie is told, the time frame of the movie, just everything made this movie feel like a true Christmas movie. SO GOOD!!! I want this on DVD!!!
