I just watched the first one before this one and I think it's cute that he finishes almost every statement/thought with 'yeah'. I don't know how long he has been working on learning to speak English ... I know he mentioned to the British guys that he watches their show to learn and practice his English. He mentioned not being fluent in English ... it takes a while to speak fluently because you need to be able to think in a language without having to think through the translation to really be fluent. But I am really impressed with his grasp on the language ... he uses a lot of words that really show how much effort he's put into learning English and he is fluent enough to hold conversations and express himself. I am very grateful for all the effort of not just the Idols, but also the people who translate the shows and add the closed captions, and all the native Korean fans, and Korean speaking fans who put so much effort into translating everything and who answer questions International fans have about things. I have a translator app but not everything is easily translated. My parents immigrated to the US from Germany ... my dad from an area where more proper German was spoken and my mom from an area where a heavy dialect was spoken and a lot of things just can't be translated literally because the literal translation doesn't really make sense, especially with things like idioms or slang or words specific to a dialect. My dad couldn't understand a lot of what my mom would say when they first met, even though they were both speaking German because my mom spoke with a Schwäbisch dialect. A lot of terms and sayings she used couldn't be translated literally, they needed an explanation to be understood. So I know a lot of work must go into translating things for us taking into account words that may not translate easily due to context or due to cultural differences that International fans may not understand without an explanation beyond the literal translation. I'm so grateful for all the effort put in to make so many more things accessible and fun for us beyond loving the music. I would listen to the music regardless of whether I could understand the lyrics or not, but I do like knowing the translation. But I wouldn't be able to watch and understand and enjoy other videos, like when they go on shows and play games and stuff. And I love watching everything I can find on these guys. 😁 So, now that I wrote a novel I'm considering not posting it 🤪 But it stems from my admiration and appreciation for Hongjoong speaking English so I'm posting it anyway. And he has such a beautiful smile.

My 1.5 year old pointed at San and said "dada" so I was like I'LL TAKE THAT but then she pointed at Jongho and said "mama" so I guess she has new parents now

I love this man so much. Everything he says, English, Korean, or anything else, is so precious. And his mouth is so pretty. I mean, his whole face is pretty too, but I love the shape of his mouth. And when his eyes look all mischievous. Thank you for making these compilations. I really need to get anyone I know in real life into Ateez!!
