I have uncovered evidence that Charles Dickens' version of "A Christmas Carol" was not the original. He hurriedly re-worked what was originally a spiritualist redemption story, into a secularized ghost story for the masses. Perhaps it has been more accessible that way; but if people really got to know the original co-authors, Americans Mathew Franklin Whittier and Abby Poyen Whittier, they would understand its true spiritual power. Dickens' version is considerably watered down.

Unfortunately, Mr. Dickens is unwittingly performing as the plagiarist of "A Christmas Carol," not as its original author. Or, he is if my research conclusions are correct, that the "Carol" was originally co-authored by Americans Mathew Franklin Whittier and Abby Poyen Whittier, being hurriedly commercialized (and secularized) by Charles Dickens within six weeks to avoid impending debt.

I have found evidence in the handwritten manuscript of "A Christmas Carol" that Dickens dumbled down some else's metaphysical writing; and there is a glaring piece of evidence in the handwritten letter dated Jan. 2, 1844 letter to Cornelius Felton, in which Dickens inadvertently admits having stolen "A Christmas Carol" from someone else. Realizing that what he has written is too revealing in context, he scribbled it out and replaced it with something innocuous. This was my own discovery, but despite announcing it in a press release, scholars are studiously ignoring it. I've identified the original authors of the "Carol" as Americans Mathew Franklin Whittier and his wife, Abby Poyen Whittier.

If only people knew the original authors of "A Christmas Carol," they would understand the story in its true light. I'm speaking of what I discovered through 15 years of independent research; that the real authors of the "Carol" had been an American couple named Mathew Franklin Whittier and Abby Poyen Whittier. This was originally a spiritualist redemption story, in which all the supernatural elements were intended to reflect authentic principles which Abby had studied. Mathew provided the humorous touches; both of them were deeply concerned about suffering humanity, but they knew that the solution was ultimately a spiritual awakening and turning of the heart. Charles Dickens merely commercialized this story within six weeks into a "Ghost Story of Christmas." So the irony arises, that you can't really understand this story until you understand that Dickens' published version was the first adaptation--and, one that did a profound disservice to the original.

But according to my independent research, conducted over a period of 15 years, Charles Dickens didn't write "A Christmas Carol," he plagiarized a completed manuscript co-authored by an American couple named Mathew and Abby Whittier. Then he hurriedly secularized and commercialized it within six weeks, privately calling it "a little scheme" and inadvertently admitting, in his Jan. 2, 1844 letter to American professor Cornelius Felton, that he had obtained it from some other source. His subsequent Christmas stories were faint reflections of the "Carol," and that's because he was literally incapable of writing a story with the spiritual power of the "Carol."

I've found evidence that Charles Dickens plagiarized a published story by American author Mathew Franklin Whittier, plus an unpublished story by Mathew and his wife, Abby, to quickly slap together an imitation, "The Story of the Goblins Who Stole a Sexton." Comparison of the texts of these two stories, with the text of "Goblins," makes it embarrassingly obvious. It was Mathew and Abby's story, "A Christmas Carol" which Dickens re-worked in the fall of 1843, within six weeks, to create his published version of the "Carol." I can back all of this up with 15 years' worth of careful research.

Very nicely read, as one might expect. However, my independent research reveals that Charles Dickens was not the original author of "A Christmas Carol." Rather, I have concluded, from overwhelming evidence, that it was written by an American couple named Mathew Franklin Whittier and Abby Poyen Whittier. Their original was a spiritualist redemption story, in which all the supernatural elements were intended to be authentic, according to the esoteric sources Abby had studied. To her, it was not a ghost story. Dickens hurriedly commercialized it into one, within six weeks, to make quick cash when he was in financial trouble. I don't throw the phrase "overwhelming evidence" around lightly.

I've read "The Life and Lies of Charles Dickens" carefully, and there are controversial elements in it which aren't touched upon in the interview. However, even these things don't go far enough. I've found compelling evidence that Dickens plagiarized "A Christmas Carol" from an American couple named Mathew Franklin Whittier and Abby Poyen Whittier. Dickens emerges from my (independent) studies as a full-blown sociopathic personality, who posed for the public and his family as a social reformer and religious man.

Goodness gracious!!!! Fascinating!!! I had no idea that Victorian food had also been “adulterated” like our modern food - but instead of killing us immediately, modern food is killing ya slowly 😳
