About 20 years ago there were already people's protests against the packaging industry, but nobody listened or forced the industries to come with solutions for their plastic waste production. People used to not drink and eat for a few hours some decades ago when making a little trip, but now the people need a sip and bite very 10 minutes or so and those sips and bites all have to be enveloped in plastic for the most. The problem has grown this way for many decades and is not addressed for decades, only encouraged and facilitated. Weird to see that only now it becomes urgent for the leaders.
