In my 60's, I remember hearing his voice on many TV shows. We would all immediately stop channel surfing. Whatever he was talking about was bound to be mind blowing.🙏🙏🙏🙏😇!

Uranus is actually a ice giant
@VirtualEndeavor6 ай бұрын
You are right but, while Uranus and Neptune are referred to as ice giants because their rocky, icy cores are proportionally larger than the amount of gas they contain, Uranus is composed predominantly of hydrogen, helium, and methane, with a small rocky core. Good catch though!

From my 10 seconds of research, a person could easily survive 10 seconds of unprotected exposure on the surface of Mars, and would only likely die from exposure after 30 to 120 seconds.

Actaully there are times on Mars where it's warmer than many places on Earth. In 2018 the recorded ground temperature was just -6C, which puts it on par with a mild winter here on Earth. The real issue is there aren't many situations where you can be exposed to the Martian environment for 10 seconds and return. It takes a very long time (~45 minutes) to depressurize an airlock of that size. So you'd have to be 1: in a sealed airlock and not in a pressure suit, 2: the exterior door blows suddenly, decompressing the airlock almost instantly, 3: the exterior door is able to close and re-seal fine, and then 4: repressurize the airlock, which would only take a few seconds by simply opening a valve and letting the pressure equalize. If you saw it coming and had time to blow all the air out of your lungs, close your eyes tightly, and curl up into a tiny ball to avoid resist being blown out the door, you'd likely survive 10 seconds.
