I remembered watching this, and I was in disbelief. In mind, I was like, "Hmmm?". Then, I heard the track "Beyond the Wasteland" from Advent Children, and I kept saying to myself, "No! Don't do this to me, Square Enix, don't do this to me!" The camera pans down towards the slums, and I see the silhouette of Barret's gun arm and then the sharp cutting edge of the Buster Sword. As the original Meteor logo of Final Fantasy VII appeared and the word "Remake" materialized with a metallic clang, I became a believer. As I now watch this again after so many years, our patience was rightly rewarded. As soon as I get a PS5, I will start playing Rebirth and wait until the third and final chapter of the FFVII Remake trilogy. We have waited for years, and our patience is justly rewarded when it's finally complete.

Rumor has it they're still tallying up the number of pants shat that day.

Guess the hype has gone down after seeing low sales of Rebirth ...................

2020-2021 was certainly a good time for sonic and FFVII fans.

FF 7 was the first game back then where i felt an emotional attachement. I've played games before, Zelda, Mario, Sonic etc you name it i was from this generation that gamed in the end of the 80's. And while they gave me emotions, like adrenaline and joy, none really did hit me in a deep emotional sens, they where great and i loved them, but once i would turn off the console,thats it, i would not think about it until i decided to play it again or talk about it with a friend. FF7 WAS the game where i totaly became obsessed with for weeks, i would loose sleep over it, i would think about it nearly 24/7 trying to beat it and putting togheter the story elements and the impact they had on my emotional state. It is the first game, that sucked me in its world and that i wanted to Explore EVERYTHING about it. So seeing this, even tho i've played it a couple of times allready since its release, it still makes me cry.

Too bad i have no one to share my excitement,, no one in my circle understand this hype,, i literally scream the first time i see this remake announcement
