Such a pleasure seeing Big Bird operate on a fast/bouncy pitch. He could do both the strike as well as the stock bowling job when he bowled bouncy medium pace with the old ball and kept the runs down better than almost anyone in that role.

No disrespect to Dale steyn, but he got most of his wickets due to the pressure created by Morkel at other end. He bowled more unplayable deliveries which missed batters edge hence got less wickets

what kind of umpiring is this?allowing a fast bowler to bowl when the light is fading-I am sure Sachin must have asked for the light meter.I 've rarely seen sachin takes his eyes off a short ball.to add to that steyn knew his best chance in that light was to bowl fast ,short and to the body.the result could have been quire different if this was in the afternoon and not the end of the day when its clearly getting dark.

Sehwag scored his first hundred in his first test match against south africa in south africa. Yes later his technique got exposed outside asia but still India hasnt found any replacement of him as opener in test cricket. Look at current Indian test batting lineup they are hardly able to make 400 runs in innings. Only Kohli, KL Rahul and sometimes Rohit Sharma can play well outside Asia. Other batsmen just dont have any clue in current setup.
