Oh dont back out. I always tell people if nursing is what you want to do and if it’s your passion do it. Dont want and think about it, get school over with as fast as you can. Nursing school is stressful it’s going to be hard sometime I’m not going to lie to you BUT it’s so rewarding and it’s definitely worth it. looking back I’m like I’m happy for the route that i took and glad i started the time i did. I’m back in school for my masters and I’m telling I’m so burnt out with school I’m done after this i dont want to look at anything else regarding school lol

Hello I’m sorry I’m not to sure what that exam is ? Is it like an entrance exam ? If so i took the Teas and there was an ATI Teas book i studied from… try the app called Archer and see if they have that type of exam on there Archer was a really good tool to use

Thank you for your quick response..Haha yes.Kinda..I have to score 21/30 so I can enroll in the LVN program at ACC Ontario location..it’s crazy my advisor sent me the practice test I only got 3 points and couldn’t finish the 30 questions..and on top of that the Wonderlic test is 8 minutes and have 30 questions..

@SorianoAngie omg they switched it up it use to be the HESI exam that’s what i took.. They know they wrong they need more than a practice test. They should have a study guide. Hopefully something pops up maybe TikTok should have some videos on it

Hey umm some c would be 2-4 if your counting clinicals the classes are doable some of them your writing papers it’s very tedious. You register for the time you want your class and the professors unless they change it but that’s how it was for one of my classes they picked for me it was public health

It will be after you pass your exit exam so the last class you take is a class that preps you for NCLEX once you pass your exit you can either pay for your test or if you go the WCU way as in do the green light program they will pay for it

Pharm i listen to level up RN and know the side effects when taking a test ask yourself what is the question asking me… and like know what the ending of medication like -lol those medications are for BP but also if your always on TikTok there are soo many nursing educators on there that give you little poems or songs to remember medications

For LVN school i was going like almost everyday for west coast you go to school maybe 1-2 times a week and then a clinical depending on your term clinical can be every other week There was some people that was able to work full time for school at Westcoast because your able to pick your day and time for lecture and your clinical day

How many tests do You take to get in the LVN program ?

@AshleySassyRamos I’m so sorry i can answer that i dont remember :( it changes every term or class that your in i do remember that if you dont pass they had remediation in 2019-2020 they had that but idk if they changed it

Our teacher gave us assignments that we had to turn in weekly it could be like 500-1000 questions for that week and she will give you more depending on if you scored less than 56 on one assignment but leading up to the last week before exit exam i did cat exams on learning system and try to get it to shut off at 85 questions

You got this👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 remember to think about it as taking another proctor exam and also its about being a safe nurse. If you can do the practice comp a and b over and over. Get familiar with what the question is asking you Also the podcast high yield nursing listen to the priority one he give tips on what to look for in the questions to rule out your answers When you take your exit take up as much time as you need it’s not about how fast you take the test if you need to take up the whole 4 hours then do it dont worry about other people

@amanireese6357 I’m sorry for late response but i know you will be fine believe in yourself… remember they are looking for the safest answer take all the time you need on your test you get 4 hours take your time and on your paper write down your name and RN behind it so everything you need to look away from your computer look at that and girl it will motivate you You got this i know you do and also relax leave all your nerves and anxiousness outside those testing doors and take a break go to the rest room walk clear your mind oh and APPLE Juice good glucose lol goodluck 👏🏽👏🏽💕

honestly its the same for almost all schools not just ACC I did my research and my coworker who's at WestCoast just graduated but most of her clinics asked for the covid vaccine and another coworker went to a school up by cabazon and again most clinics asked for the vaccine at the end is no longer a school thing but a clinic thing and getting lucky tbh I would ask if you can do an exception letter maybe than can help you

When i was looking to RN school ACC did not have that program and my prerequisites were expiring so i just went LVN-BSN route at WCU but ADN is a good route you can work as an RN while going back to get your BSN some places would pay for you to go back to get your BSN.. at westcoast all the BS classes like research and the classes that we did a lot of papers was all online There are a lot of programs that have ADN - BSN i would do research to see which is the cheapest route i would say look into western gov ( i think that’s what it’s called) it’s all online and they do provide alot of programs

I opt out on book voucher and purchase books from previous students the only book i purchase from the students was med surg ( didn’t even open it lol ) the OB book( omg get that book you need that book) and the rest i used ATI books that the school will provide

@Kinyimba Leah I Amy start in August to California location. I've had stats at CC and it's not bad. Considering math is my weakest subject. Path and Phar are challenging classes this is coming from a medical assistant/lvn graduate. U will figure out creative ways to learn that's best for u. Pharmacy is more remembering drug classes and endings. I'd suggest trying to learn how to study Pharmacy now.

I used simple nursing, registered nurse rn and i found out about high yield Nursing

Do the comp a and b test look at the focus review listen to mark k lecture 12 or NCLEX high yield prioritizing episode Do CAT exams on learning system i hated board vitals those are hard but make sure you read the question and take your time dont second guess yourself you got this you made it this far you will pass 🤍 Remember to remind yourself this test is just another proctor

Hey so i opt out of the book voucher and i communicated with pervious students if i did need the book i would purchase from pervious students or you can rent them off Amazon and also everyone had a pdf on google doc so when you start WCU has there own app and also on Facebook a student won’t make a WCU group and everyone would communicate there
