Thank you kindly for taking us along. The parade definitely looks more magical at night with all the Christmas lights and decorations. Louis’s Critter Coves has a great aesthetic. I like it. I don’t remember if I’ve ever seen footage for the Storybook Canal. That’s neat. All the bits and the quality remind me of watching the Walt Disney Parade for an hour or two growing up in the 80s and 90s. 😊 I wish you both a wonderful Christmas filled with laughter, smiles, joy, and treasured memories. oh!!! oh my gosh, good eye!! We loved the Sword in the Stone float in the Magic Happens parade at Disneyland, but I honestly don't remember the movie. I need to add this to my watch list. 🥰 I think he is made of something else and made to look like wood, just so he holds up well over the years!

1:50 I had an instrument set like that in the 80s with Sesame Street images on the side. I think it’s upstairs. You put the triangle and other instruments inside the drum. This one has neater sides.

oooh, I'm so glad we mentioned it!! When they brought the plate over, I was surprised to see the whipped cream on it, so I asked the server if they could please double check that it was dairy-free, and they came back and said it was coconut milk based! When we made the reservations, the app asked if we had allergies, and then the server also asked if we had allergies when we sat down. I really appreciate them for that. 💚💙 if you didn't already know, the blue and green milk at Galaxy's Edge are coconut milk based too!! 🥲

haha oh my gosh, that’s so true!! I’m not sure why we use the term “entree” in the US. Sometimes it just says “mains” instead. 😆 It was a little chilly that day but wait until you see next week’s video. I’m basically dressed for snow and folks are walking by in t-shirts! lol we’ve only lived in California 8 years, but now I’m cold easily! 🤓💖

I'm not sure how I missed them!! It wasn't clear in my edit, but I do actually like cinnamon candies and gum lol! I swear! but I don't love when drinks or food have too much cinnamon in them to the point where it makes them "spicy," if that makes sense! haha 💓

@@nerdydaydreamsIt does. I liked the fireballs or cinnamon Altoids, but not a lot of other stuff. Small doses, like with cinnamon and sugar on toast or with cooked rice and milk. Cider was always out for me, though, even before I became allergic to apples it bothered me.

22 Dollars...for a small spaghetti aglio olio...wtf.. you could buy 3 portions for 22$ at my local italian restaurant, wich is not considered cheap. aglio olio is the cheapest dish that exists. ok..boiling water with salt would be cheaper, but I bet disney would take 15 for that.

It was a fancy price bahaha, I hear you!! I think the Wine Country Trattoria is one of the fancier spots at Disneyland. Simon shared (off camera) with me that he was really surprised by the price, especially because our favorite Alien Pizza Planet noodles are so much more filling and have so many veggies in them and they’re $13.50. 🤓💖

I think the Triforce thing is more a matter of "logic", like, they have an iconic triangle symbol, a fir can roughly be drawn with triangles, BOOM. Though, if Simon is right..... I owe him a beer and I'm very eager to see what's up!

I’m not familiar with Nintendo characters, but the stars are cute. All the trees look so neat. Hogsmeade look exceptionally magical. Boy that light show lights up the castle. Love the Minion bulbs; that’s what we’re always called them around here: bulbs not baubles, although mostly ornaments. I think they should have had more dinosaurs on the Jurassic World tree. Maybe some dinosaurs peeking out. Ooh eggs with some of them having the babies peek out. Footprint ornaments to imitate the ones we make as kids with our handprints.

Simon and I both grew up playing Nintendo64, so we love the characters, but I’d imagine the land would still be really fun to visit for someone not familiar with them too!! Great video and saber! Your hilt is similar to the one I just built a few weeks ago to go with my 2019 version. Elemental nature is definitely my favorite of the four styles! And I agree, the experience is totally worth it. I’ve done it twice and also observed my wife and daughter do it, and it still gives me chills each time! I love finding other videos like this and comparing the different performances of the various Kembes. Yours was COMPLETELY different than mine. It makes each experience so different and unique. I have to make it out here for Grinchmas one year! Even when I worked there for a short bit I didn’t work there during the season! The frog choir was giving Pentatonix. And I still can’t believe they just built a roller coaster on the side of a mountain and it will SPIN as well!

Where do yall typically eat at the park or city walk?

Inside the park, there are a couple of options. We went to Krusty Burger once and tried the Mother Nature burger, which was good! In the past, Universal’s fries have not been vegan (I think due to dairy?!) but we’ve heard they changed suppliers and now they’re good to go! We’ve also tried the Asparagus Platter at Three Broomsticks, but you have to specify vegan (they will bring it out with mashed potatoes with dairy in them, it’s only vegan with the sliced potatoes). We love Voodoo Doughnuts in City Walk!! But long story short, we usually wait till we leave to eat and then go to Veggie Grill! 😂💖

ahh, I love mailing things too, so this made me really happy! It's really hard to find postcards at Disneyland these days! I've found them in their Grand Californian Hotel gift shop, and they do have some fancy ones in one of the art shops, but it's not as common. We may make a video about mailing things from Disneyland though -- they have so many mailboxes in the parks! 🥰

I built a red and white R5 unit because I wanted him to look like R2 but with red accents and I like the R5 head unit, but as I was making it, someone commented about making sure the motivator is ok on it and it took me a few hours to get the reference to the one in the New Hope. lol I love your build.

I got approached by Kylo Ren when I was wearing my newly bought Sith cloak and I shyly froze up too. he asked if I have my anger under control or something and i said I hope so then got very nervous and awkward. but got a chuckle. And the last time I went was the first time in probably 15 years so I got to experience the Star Wars area for the first time so my wife and I went there very early and as we were walking in, we were the only ones on the southern path inward and Boba Fett was on the roof tops watching us enter and I was fanboying with my Boba Fett backpack on. Wish I took a picture.
