I know it's been a while since this was posted but LIS never gets old, right 13:45 "the game may not have been real but the heart of it was, the passion and the spirit behind everything is out there, in the world" - this sums up how I have been living since I played this game (and then the others of the saga, too). I played it just to have fun with some friends who suggested it (I'm not even into gaming) but it somehow changed me. In my everyday life, I experience things (watching a view, listen to a piece of music) that make me say "this is SO Life is strange". This feels like the right place to express this feeling: the aesthetic and the mood of those games altered the way I see the world for the better, and I'm so grateful for it. Thank you for this video-trip and hugs from Italy

My wife and I visited Tillamook Bay in August last year on our trip up the west coast (we're from Germany) and also stayed overnight at the Hotel Garibaldi. My wife hadn't played the game but at least for me, the experience was just the same as it was for you :) (my wilfe also enjoyed the landscapes a lot but without the giggliness and the "it looks just like in the game!" moments). We also visited Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, one and a half hours south of Tillamook, the direct inspiration for the lighthouse in the game. Yes, Arcadia Bay is not a real place but Tillamook Bay and the entire Central and Northern Oregon Coast regions are so well represented in Life is Strange that you might as well be in the game.

im from Poland but if i was to ever travel to America for vacations i think i know where im going... all LiS fans should have like a "gathering spot" there or a place where we can leave a marking on with our initials Imagine living there, playing the game and not knowing it was inspired by your town, then freaking out realizing how similar everything looks i will never forget this game. LiS 2 and other installations in the franchise will never be what the first game was. Pure masterpiece which helped me get through my teenage depression back then and shaped my world view on things

I see this 6 years later but when you said “I’ll never get to take wowser pictures with Max” I felt my heart dropping and my eyes tearing. Max was the character that I felt the most connected, I love her way of thinking, her way of talking to other people she’s so kind, supportive and I feel like 1 hug from Max would cure most of my problems literally ❤ but yeah.. instead, I play the game to feel closer to her

I'm definitely going to make it out there since I am in Portland. I know it's not actually called arcadia bay, it's actually a mix of Astoria, Tillamook Bay, Garibaldi, and Newport. I'm glad I live in Oregon and got to experience a legendary game.

I’m late to this but it feels so special that I live in Oregon and have been to geribaldi multiple times, not knowing it was the setting of life is strange. What I found just recently to be the most beautiful, real and touching game. Watching this to find out I went to that exact lighthouse made me emotional.. Your enthusiasm makes me so happy.
