Very happy to see Reid get bumped off. He was the only guy I was rooting against.

I assume no penalties for Reid? He took out two people! No admonition for Tarquioli, or Thompson. I've watched this whole season so far and this isn't a race, it's a bloodbath. Tranquini pulls a gun on Mueller, shoots him dead, and the Commentators say, "Mueller is really storming his way to the back here, lol." This is good TV.

I wish there was a recording that focused entirely on the B-class. I'd watch a TV show about that.

Could've been a classic finish if not for that terrifying crash between Hunter-Reay and Conway... Luckily Conway survived from that and got to win a race has a career in WEC

We were in the front row in turn three. The Mike Conway flew past us as high as our seats. Then the car collapsed the fence just past us. I have pictures of the engine on the track through the hole in the fence. A few years ago I had another close call at Road America in the Indy Lights race at turn 5. Look at "scary crash at Road America". I am the light brown hat jumping at the crash destroyed the fence 10 yards away. Very lucky the car stayed on the track.

How come the Vauxhall Vectra was left hand drive in 1996 and 1997, right hand drive in 1998 and 1999 then left hand drive again in 2000?

I completely forgot that Will Hoy made a comeback in the Peugeot. Shame he didn't have a class A. super tourer though like another Nissan as that would of made quite a change to the field.

Pretty much the Group N type cars of the early 90's. Just the road version of the car with a roll cage and somewhat a tweaked engine yes. It was meant to be a more affordable way to go touring car racing when Super Touring was dying off.

I wish that the BTCC still used this track configuration at Silverstone. It was way better than either of the present day 'short' configurations. The track would differ slightly between Becketts and Abbey but the old track from Abbey, through Bridge corner and up Brooklands is still more or less intact so in theory, it wouldn't be a massive project to reinstate this layout. I am a huge fan of Silverstone and the BTCC but I do find the national circuit to be one of the most boring tracks on the calender (the international circuit configuration is equally dull so that wouldn't be much better). The full grand prix circuit is amazing but I understand that they are reluctant to use that due to its length which I totally get, but even so, I still believe they could come up with a better 'short' layout than the national or international. They should've kept the bridge corner layout, even if only used for BTCC races.
