Actually glossy moves slower through the water than rough. Because it sticks to the water. Rough surface creates air bubbles and turbulence which is faster. That’s probably why pro boards are matte finish.

Coming from a marine paint/gelcoat background blue is the one color that is always impossible to match and it always fades a little differently once it’s completely cured. Nicely done.

As a nail tech, I think I could do this. Sanding especially. I’m extremely good at making things even. Also I have extreme ocd when it comes to symmetry and lines, so I’d be literally COMPULSIVELY forced to make it perfectly even 😭

I found a nice board on the beach with a 2ft wide crescent shape missing from it. Kinda funny cause it looks like I got caught in a bear trap. Must be why they left it there. Anyways, how much for the repair and to get the funny red stains buffed out? Thanks in advance !
