Chris, You are an amazing accordion player! Your teaching is second to none. Have you considered making DVDs? I would be the first to buy. You have helped me so much! Wayne

Are you playing a D accordion?
@wadefalcon73442 жыл бұрын
"a fiddle song." Funny since the original recording was done on accordion. But i truly believe the tune has fiddle origins well before commercial Cajun music, so he may be right.

Sorry sir, but kind of scattered as a teacher. You make the first three lines of Part B clear, but as you are about to show us the complex (for a newbie like me) fingering of the last line, you get distracted and jump to demonstrating the tune full speed. The only example of that last line is at 45 seconds, and I’ve played that 2 seconds of video over and over again, trying to figure it out.

I am trying to play this, but I am running out of bellows on the long push between the first and second line. How can I get more bellows travel? I should add, I am a professional woodwind musician, with over sixty years of experience.

Hi, that’s a good performance, I have recently started to listen to this type of music, and I know that it is not easy to play, especially mastering the Loping rhythm, I have a Roland FR 4X , I would appreciate any sound setting tips for Zydeco . Ken In Scotland.

When somebody ask me how to play the accordeon,part of what I say is Keep your fingers close to the buttons, also, if you have problems to perform a movement, is because your fingers are not in the right position. Especially on a 3 row accordeon. Good lesson! One of this days I'll stop and look for you in Lake Charles.
