How do you like the Duratrac RTs?

I was so relieved when you said the 10-ply Vredestein Pinza AT is a good tire your friend is using. I recently had 4 Vredestein Pinza AT's installed on my Ford F-250 in the 10-ply.

My concern was the fabric soft cover may leak water

On my 10000lb ram these are amazing on ice and in snow. I had blizzaks and XTs on before and both didn't last one year and I was sliding on corners with both. The AT4 s are amazing so far.

The Goodyear weather assurance number twos are amazing in snow in medwest

Let me guess- they start off as ok tires, but then they start feeling a little unsafe on wet pavement after that first or second year with them. And even worse in cold weather with snow.

Thanks for the video. I live in the Colorado mountains. I’m Getting these put on my 2022 Mini Cooper Countryman all4 on Monday. 35” of snow over 5 days! Excited about new tires. Nervous about road noise and loss of mpg coming from pirelli centuro stock tires… which did fine with the M+S designation but not the 3peaks.

Thanks for this. Tried everything and on mine it seems that that the retractable pin on the latches themselves have an obnoxious squeak when pushing them up and down. Tried grease and wd40. Any thoughts to fix other then trying to buy replacement latches? Thank you

I have a 2022 4xe with the sky one and after it went through this kind of carwash, water got down into the rails and for the next month every time I made a turn or braked hard, soapy water came out through where the sun visors are. I do NOT recommend taking a sky one through a carwash. I wash mine by hand with a pressure washer (under 2000 psi) for the muddier areas.

My daughter has these on her Subaru Ascent , far far far superior to the OEM tires. She skies and she can safely go anywhere she needs to go.

How are you calculating the mpg loss? From the video it seems like you trust the Subaru computer readout? That would be a mistake. You really need to calculate at the pump. Subaru computer is totally inaccurate with the mpg numbers.

TFS the truthful and significant mileage reduction. You just turned me 100% off these things just as I was getting pulled in. There is no way in this California day and (continuing) age in 06/2023 of $5/gln gas to lose upwards of 4mpg (70+ miles per tank). That is a serious added expense over time. Honesty is the best policy. ✌🏼

Had the Falken A/T Trail on our 2013 CrossTrek XV and loved them. I’m excited that they just started making them in the size needed for our VW Taos.

Amazing review. Thank you. In need of replacement tires for my '16 Crosstrek (still have the OEM Geos after 70k miles) that can hold up to wintery conditions in the PNW and north of the border. I think I will pull the trigger on these.
