I want to get into wild/stealth camping. I have an Asta new snow.tent which has orange on it. Would the orange be that noticeable?

I'm come to this video a bit late but popped up in my feed. Really enjoyed it. Reminded me of my general approach over the years. The images are wonderful and perfectly captured the majesty of the oak trees. The drone footage was very atmospheric. Not many do that. Was really surprised there wasn't many more views for this video. I've watched others recently with 1000s of views, but pretty rubbish truth be told. So good work here.

I happened on this tripod and it looked like it would work for me. So I looked it up on KZbin and found your video. With your excellent video my search is over so I will order one.

Great video and thanks for posting. I have had my old Tripod since the 90's and have just decided to get another one so I am glad that I came upon your review. Will it take a camera and lens weighing 2.5kg and being 3 years on hows Sweat Spot getting on is it still worthy of the name. Cheers Glenn v from NZ

Thanks Steve! Changed it to Adobe RGB because someone said so, but been questioning it ever since. Someone said the missing colours could cause colour banding in the transition areas, but I'd guess you'd have to be very harsh on saturation and vibrance to notice any of this. Now I've watched your video, I'm back to SRGB!

Found a new love for woodland photography after watching all your videos recently. Sherwood Forest is near to me and I went many times as a child and have only appreciated how amazing the place is since I started visiting with my camera. Shame you don’t make the videos any more as your photos are fantastic. If I can get some half as good as yours then I’ll be delighted

I have this tent. I think they missed a trick by not having midge mesh on the doors, it's either open or totally shut, it world be nice to be able to see out without midges getting in.

so, usually, are you using RAW file or just jpeg file for setting sir? I new to this genre of photography and using RAW on my Nikon. But the size is quiet big. about 30 - 50 mb. Need a suggestion.

Brilliant review Steve, I’m into wildlife photography and I’m between this and the travel version, weight vs stability and features ! Wish there was a vlog as good as yours on the travel one !

I am Steve's uncle and just discovered this video. It is sad that his Mum, my sister, passed away Easter 2021 and very sad that Steve passed away suddenly a few months later. It makes this video, with Steve's feelings following bereavement and hopes and plans for the future, even more poignant.

I've read that the lens is usually on the blurry side when taking on the spot photos ( I.E street photography with moving people etc) What has been your experience?

This is wonderful. Combines two of my favourite things, ancient woodland and Robin Hood. It's so important to save old woodland, which is why HS2 is such a bad idea. I've volunteered with Trees For Life, I grow trees from seed for guerilla gardening. This is so inspiring, photography can be magical. I love telling the Robin hood ballads, which are on my KZbin channel. It's great the way Steve explains about his art. Thank you

I bought Vanguard's previous tripod model in October (Alta Pro 2). Last week, three months after purchase, I emailed their customer support asking about how to fix an issue I had with one of the legs. They wrote back asking for proof of purchase, which I provided. Today they told me it's better to replace than to attempt a repair, so are sending me a VEO 3 for free. Now that's what I call good customer service; no arguing or trying to blame me for the problem, just making sure their customers are happy.

I just ordered one of these and was afraid you were about to have a negative story lol, good to hear they’re good
@PanEuropeanSTRider Жыл бұрын
@@vapinggranny2474 I'm still happy with it a year later. Although today I was out on the bike (one with an engine, not pedals) so had to use my smaller, flimsier one because the Vanguard won't fit in the panniers. The Vanguard is always the one I take if I'm on foot or in the car.

I love how natural your videos are and the narration, I wild camp and don't like the videos most people do because it's just not real enough and only include the best shots and drone footage but you show what it's really like from start to finish. * anyone who wants to get into wild camping will be very well done following hid tips and tricks!
