what lever? also what switches you got? if you got faulty switches, it may give a different feel or sound, they are consumables so they can go bad or they're defective right out of the box. I prefer Omron switches because they are reliable and long lasting

Which lever do you prefer, Crown or knee lever? I have the knee lever with the Gersung help me switches. I’m think of getting a Crown to try out.
@bludika6 ай бұрын
Knee lever 2 aka Knee lever neo. I don't like Gerseung switches though, they have some manufacturing inconsistencies, the quality control is kinda questionable. My favorite is by Omron, and it's the only one i use. Look up Omron V152-1A6, they are medium tension, super consistent and readily available, they are the BOMB

haha this only just the artwork swap...i got the official artwork myself and purchased a 2nd one for this. I wonder if the artwork can be sold for some $$$, it's the OG artwork from Mad Catz directly. Awesome video man thanks. The only video i've found explaining how to release tention where returning to neutral. Two questions though : 1: How long did it take to be that precise and more importantly to achieve that fluidity ? 2 : what lever are you using nowadays ? Cheers.

Cool video, kinda late to the party but do you know if they've fixed it after all these years? Been having the same issues on the brook ps4 version.
@bludika Жыл бұрын
no they haven't unfortunately, and the damn PS5 officially Sony licensed sticks like Qanba or Hori STILL have the problem. You press 1+2 and you may get 1,2 input or just 1 input, or 2 input like maybe 10-20% of the time. You're experiencing that bullshit right? It's fucking annoying when idiots on reddit claim it's an "operator error" lmao...The only solution ATM is Brook UFB.
@KyokujiFGC11 ай бұрын
@@bludika I just bought a Mayflash F500 Elite, and it has the exact same issue as well on PC even though I don't play Tekken. It's very noticeable in older CPS2 games on Fightcade where pressing KK, PPP, LP+LK, etc is super strict like with Tekken. Like if you try doing a bunch of kick lariats in a row with Gief in Alpha 2/3, a bunch will randomly drop on newer sticks. Whereas if I go back to my old PS3 or 360 sticks, I might drop like one out of every 30. Also, do you know if GP 2040 fixes the issue as well?

I'm glad you emphasized letting go of the down direction before the left direction by keeping your thumb on the lever. Even many respectable channels guide people to let go to neutral when they don't even realize they have learned by muscle memory to return the lever through the back direction without realizing it.
@bludika2 жыл бұрын
yea, i hate it when they say "oh just let go back to neutral", i get what they mean, but it can also confuse some people who try to literally let it go and then try to press back afterwards, and realize it doesn't work, so it's just my method, not saying its the only method but just what I've found to work best

@@bludika so what i used to do was release the stick for the free back input and then mash the stick back as fast as i could but couldn't get the back dash. Ofcourse the tutorials i saw before this people were going crazy fast with it and so I thought it was a speed thing. After seeing you video and knowing the technique now i get a few back dashes (slow but successive) that are enough to make the opponent whiff sometimes. I have never played on a stick and it has only been 4/5 days since I got one.. hopefully it gets better over time.
