@@milesthesnivy2414 berserk is still goated. Berserk was goated. Berserk will forever be goated. Atleast if u look at objectively and my literacy standards. And not my stupid stuff like how much hype or how cool it is Vinland is goated bc there is actual powerful writing put into it. Elements arent randomly put , forgotten , hastily semi answered and left off. People feel satisfaction reading vinland , berserk , one piece too. Although i do agree the ending will piss 90% people off bc it will be oda's vision and oda's vision is not the fandom's vision. But i also know many will be deeply satisfied. Spyxfam has fallen off in a sense i would say. I dont know whats going on now in the story but last i checked everyone was treating it like gag manga. Even as an sol gag manga its good tho. But just that. Good. Blue lock's u20 is similar levels of goated to shibuya arc for me. But bluelock is in no way unpredictable at all. We all very much know and understand whats gonna happen. Blue lock , one piece , berserk , spyxfam provide one thing that jjk cannot provide to a lot of people. Satisfactory end to huge setups. Its a simple thing. If u set up something big , the payoff doesnt have to be too grand , just satisfactory enough that the audience feels that it was worth investing in the setup. I detest gojo fanatics. He shouldnt come back i agree. And gege very well understands what majority of his fanbase wants and what he himself wants. To not bring him back. But if a grave for tsumiki the non existent sister can be made... a grave for gojo or even some characters talking about " its sad gojo is gone / now that gojo is gone whats the next plan " thing. While he did respectfully add a gojo memory in the last scene the lack of warmth for gojo from any character makes the reader feel that the one who did the most was betrayed in a sense. Forgotten. Refused to be mentioned. As if they had a memory erasure. Idk if this is a writing choice or gege being spiteful. But i felt whatever he was trying to convey wont change with a gojo grave or a mention. It just feels a slap on the face of gojo fans ( the genuine and the fanatics ) that sukuna gets a complete rushed up but great character arc closure and sort of a grave in the final panel but gojo is just no mentions and a passing mention to be forgotten. Thats not very loving or respectful towards one of the most tragic and contributing characters to the success of the franchise and progress of the plot imo. I still dont understand why no mention of yuji domain name.. Its just so unsatisfactory that the most anticipated domain expansion has no name. Thats just blueballing. And not the good kind at all. And i have no belief in the part 2 cope. There is no reason to not announce part 2 in works and capitalise on it now. How will the world react to curse energy existing now? Does the japanese government get more involved? Will america just give away the captured sorcerer? What was the entre angle between Angel and sukuna being the fallen one? These questions create a sense of disatisfaction when not answered. And i apologise if one of those is answered but if i dont remember. The tengen barrier stil is set for some years , we will figure it out later thing in my personal opinion is such a bad copout answer. Like what? Did u never think how they were gonna remove the barrier concept? Did u write urself to corner? But this is just my thing . Also instead of the nss lore nobody cared about and about readdress how battle stratergy works , things we already knew , we couldve got more character work on sukuna and him pondering his loss and life. And the characters breaking away from the old jujutsu socoety traditions and celebrating the ones who died. Mourning and remembering them just breaking the bad system that sorcerers dont die a good death. More sukuna work would make the " im a curse " to " i'll choose love " change feel less jarring. Gege isnt a bad writer. But his executions always leave something to be demanded. And its been very much the reality since end of perfect preparation imo. The yuta gojo thing was really good in my opinion. I was invested in what gege was trying to convey. But for yuta to later not give proper respect to gojo , let alone mention him and him losing nothing from this huge bait he took which was obviously played to imply this is risky just makes the build up bland. A lot of small subpaar executions and unanswered questions lead to immense dissatisfaction. I wont call jjk bad or gege a failure of writer. I will say he outshines others in a select few aspects but is underwhelming in many more aspects that reflects in his work as well.
