It was great up until the very end when he botched it because Patton would not have ended his speech that way he would’ve ended it by saying it a loud commanding voice “ THAT IS ALL !!!!!! “

He was right when he said we should’ve marched on Moscow and ended the Soviet Union in 1945. It would’ve saved the world a lot of heartache, but nobody listened to him.

My father turned 13 the very day his hometown, Châlons-sur-Marne, was liberated by Patton's 3rd Army after 4 years of german occupation. What a birthday present it must have been.

Its interesting that history reports that Patton had a particularly weak voice that he often stated he was cursed with.

The ones that died enabled the gold cross winners to do what they did. Espacially in the d day invasion. Some of the d day survivors said the same thing. Otherwise i agree with him.

Certains peuvent hurler au navet, mais il est en fait un joyau brut. Bande son, décors, le narrateur à la voix profonde et poignante... Un chef d'œuvre qui se dévoile à nos yeux si on accepte de le regarder au delà des coupes de cheveux... Par Crom, nous ne sommes que des hommes, et non des dieux pour juger ce film par le tranchant de nos lames. 😂❤

My dad (aged 18 in 1941) was a buck private deployed into General Omar Bradley's 9th Army 99th Infantry Division. Daddy wrote the book titled INFANTRYMAN AT THE FRONT published by Vantage Press, NYC, 1959. Even though my Daddy has been dead since December 20th, 1998 I think of him daily. Occasionally, I head to KZbin to listen to George Patton(as played by George C. Scott) opening speeech to troops under his command just to get a deeper feeling of how things may have been some 80 years ago. Daddy, I still miss you so.

I base some of my key business and social/political warfare tactics off of Pattons philosophy on war. I agree that the Army is a team, but they represent and defend the constitution, freedom, and all individual American citizens. An individual American citizens team is their family, who all should work as a team who help each other win and succeed. Blood is thicker than water and as the new General of my army it is known how I feel about my enemies. 💯🇺🇲
