Can you please do a video for plant ideas in a small low maintenance yard? Preferably narrow plants that also look nice in the winter
@Greenlandgarden2 ай бұрын
We will consider this! In this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aF6zZXx5psyEetE We show many low maintenance plants. The grasses are particularly nice in winter!

Plants do not “purify” air. That implies that they remove impurities from the air which they do not have the ability to do. What plants do do, however, is to take in CO2 and gives off Oxygen as a waste product which we humans need so to have them in the home is not a bad idea.

Love your tour. Fabulous garden. Would be beneficial to list the names.
@Greenlandgarden2 ай бұрын
This would be an incredibly tall order. Bob had so many different varieties, and since we filmed this, he unfortunately passed away, making 100% accurate plant ID very difficult.

what about Zamia Plant?

Thank you. I'm currently living in Medellin Colombia and the foliage is amazing but I have a brown thumb and all the plants you have discussed are right outside my window, so I am going to double down my efforts to make them take root and be happy in my flat.

not really sure if plants dont know the difference, seems a bit too presumptuous of us humans.

What happens if you put gardenia fertilizer on pothos or another kind?
@Greenlandgarden6 ай бұрын
The mixing ratio on the garden fertilizer is not suitable for indoor plants. It is possible to dilute it in such a way that it may be suitable, but our recommendation would be to get indoor plant fertilizer and follow those instructions.

Very useful thanks - but plants, microorganisms and fungi that coexist with the plants do know the difference between organic and synthetic.

We got a puppy last year and she's annihilated most of my garden. We are building an interior fence to act as a dog run to hopefully deter her from eating shrubs / digging / laying on plants / eating plants. Then I can begin the work of rebuilding my previously beautiful garden.

We love George - but he destroyed stuff by running over it, playing in it...sometimes it's just a matter of time waiting for the zoomies to calm down.
