Nice post... Well, here from Montreal... We all dance on dances we know, little people actually know how to dance Tarraxinha... thus DJs will play music people know how to dance on. Thus... Been at D'Maes, Trarraxinha was playing and you know what, we were actually dancing Tarraxinha... Here in Montreal, people dance Urban Kiz on Tarraxinha (why not). As instructors, we also have a duty to teach all the dances under the Kiz umbrella... The word is out peeps.. Let's teach Tarraxinha so DJs will pump in this music and make Iron Mams (And myself) happy as Tarraxinha is probably my favorite dance. And DJ Znobia... Xéeee!!!

That tip at 1:52 is helpful - not coming back to fully standing up right away. After you said that, I tried it both ways - coming back up partway before standing all the way up and trying to stand up all the way right away, and it's amazing how hard it is to stand all the way up right away. Wow! It almost makes you fall over.
