The PEAVEY logo that lights up has been shifted & is no longer centered. Not sure if the plate will cause problems or interfere with any component.. just something I noticed. I own this amp & hardly ever played it. Bought in 1997 & still has the same tubes!

Every demo of this amp is always done with someone who's interest is metal. I replaced my ultra because after selling it I couldn't find an amp with 3 channels that sounded as good for classic rock and blues in my price range. I have a Windsor head that I put 12ay7s in the first two preamp tubes so I can control the gain easier and setup it up for a light crunch so I can use my pedal board. A Marshall sounding pedal sounds better than a real Marshall when you put it in an amp with a Marshall style preamp and el34 tubes in the output. Don't worry peavey and bugera fixed the QC problems in China by upgrading the Molex connector to the output section section.My Windsor is also a replacement for another Windsor I sold to buy a UK built dsl head which I had to sell due to a disability. I'm a pro player who had to sell all of his pro gear guitars, amps, etc due to becoming disabled. Thank God we are in a golden age of quality products from China. Vintage v100, Ibanez artist reissues, Korean guitars like Michael Kelly hourglass and peavey HP signature exp ( PRS copy like the hourglass). Do your research and buy used. The peavey ultra are cheaper to buy in a combo which I convert to a head and a cabinet. I have a luthier built l.p. guitar I've been hanging on to but I need the money for a new water heater. I sent the luthier a 25 lb block of old mahogany to build it but unknowingly the only neck profile he builds is a modern c profile. Not my thing. It's in a Csb. It's beautiful. It had a few loose frets which I had taken care of along with leveling them all. I got a good discount for that. It's for sale. BTW it is not a chibson. I'll tell you the guys name if you want to buy the guitar. The hardware is all Gfs and dragonfire vintage buckers which sound great.

I have this same amp. Love it, but when changing channels from the foot pedal -- say from crunch to ultra -- the amp mutes as you click the pedal - very frustrating.
