Wow, there was a time when famous musicians cared about songs, not drugs, booze and whores.

I don't care if it's windy, I want to know who it is they're singing about that's creeping 'round and smiling and stuff.

So weird to hear things from the 90s now on a "classic" format. But, I'm glad that my dad exposed me to this generation of music when I was a kid in the 80s and early 90s. Too many think old = bad, and that's their problem not mine.

Remember to bring a bottle of mouthwash with you when you listen to this song! You'll need it due to the line of work you'll be performing! i recommend Listerine!

Studio musicians known as the Wrecking Crew actually made this record. They also made the Monkees , and many other records for the phony bands. They did Tamborine man for the Byrds. In 3 takes. Turn Turn Turn was actually recorded by the band.(In 75 takes lol)

Shouldn't that be "Wendy" and not "Windy"? That was a little ahead of my time but I grew up with that song.

This song was the balls back around June of 1967. I had just graduated from the 8th grade at a Parochial grammar school it had to be about the 2nd Friday of June, it was such a keynote song at least for me. It kicked off a memorable Summer and the hits kept coming all the way to the start of high school that September. There are a dozen songs or so that take me back to that particular June and this was indeed one of them.

This music is timeless, talented, relational. It was this music that framed an era, the 60's & 70's. We hear it, and instantly we are brought back to that time. Such a gift. One of the best times to be alive.
