I texted with my fiance for almost 3 months before we met in person, not only did I get to know them first but they got to know me as well. Although in person is obviously different we have now lived together for just over a year. And it's a perfect couples tale, bickering with tons of love.

Wow thank you so much. This is everything I’ve been going through recently. I’ve been saturating my mind with affirmations and my limiting beliefs have been getting so loud!!! This was definitely god sent. Have you yourself really gone through this? You seem so grounded and confident in yourself. It gives me hope.

I do have this kind of "boredom". And I my case, I has something that related to female hormones because this happen in certain times during my cycle lol (this awareness became so much relief because I stop telling myself that "I do not do enough"). And there are somethings that I do to shift out this feeling and remind myself. I currated my experiences (journaling, making content, taking photos, etc) so that I can scroll it whenever I feel I dont do enough. I also make some "little" goals (such as cooking more or doing laundry by myself) etc that I try to achieve within a month, those goals (w/ little celebrations followed) make me realize that I do progressing (sometimes slower, the other time faster) in life time to time. Thank you Aliena, I love your podcast💕✨️

Thank you so much for this video. I just ended a toxic relationship today and it was so hard for me to push through. I knew it was the wrong relationship to be in from the beginning, yet this other voice kept telling me to be more understanding and accepting. And then I keep blaming myself for falling too deep into it. Now I understand that I not only live in my own illusion, but also in his.

That is so american. It is certainly admirable to go after your dreams, but many people do that and still don't reach them. Our society is deeply unjust. If your parents are rich and you got a good education, you can afford college and can take basically any opportunity that you are given, then you may reach your goals if you're also talented and hard-working. But if your parents aren't rich, your chances sink dramatically. By saying that you only have to go after your goals, you are implicitly telling people that it's their own fault that they don't succeed in their goals, even though the system is rigged so that children of low-income families have very little possibility to get a high income later in their life. The whole american dream thing is also in big part a way to make people not blame society and the system but themselves and each other, and therefore the system stays the same and rich people get even richer and poor people even poorer. And low-income people vote for someone like Trump who will make their lives even worse. Edit: Of course I don't advocate for a change of democracy or capitalism, but in that framework there are still many ways to make society more just, for example by investing in free high-quality education for everyone. There is absolutely nothing liberal or meritocratic in the current system. Children don't choose their parents. If you want to give those most who have achieved the most and have worked the hardest, you have to grant everyone the same chances at the beginning.

Loved this one. In short self love = alignment with oneself And when we’re not, we practice self compassion. Sounds easy. I loved the clarification in the end btwn self love and selfishness. All true Thank you for this one and for the affirmations too Insightful and helpful

Yes, I really think "aligning with oneself" as you phrased it is key and then practicing self-compassion helps us navigate those moments when we’re not quite there. So glad you enjoyed the affirmations - thank you for watching and for your thoughtful feedback!✨

For me, self love comes after I finally accept myself entirely. Then I can accept my "reality" and my feelings about that reality, which some of them I like, and the other I dont like. After setting intentions and doing my "part" that so many doors open one by one, I begin to change because I love myself so deeply and dont want to stay in that reality that I dont like. Thank you for sharing aliena💕💕
