For PoTW, at the time, it appeared that you were going for a Blue/Red energy spells deck splashing Black. I would have chosen Cyclops Superconductor over Depth Defiler. It has Prowess and it goes along with the slight energy theme. Especially, since you were not going with Eldrazi

Anyways, I somehow managed to trophy this week in mh3. Something I never thought I'd do. It was an izzet energy deck, splashing rise of the gremlins, or whatever that card is. Plus a couple of the boros goblins. Surprising to me to get that lucky with basically the only rare i played was the vanishing whale. Oh, as well, six is an amazing card! Such value! Him, a couple accursed marauders made for a fun 6 win run. It was pretty neat to just keep recurring the marauders to answer big eldrazi threats, and when six inevitably got killed, bringing him back with victimize was just icing on the cake! Now, i have some boros spellslinger deck waiting to be played. I got passed a second pick aisling and got married to it pr3tty hard. Too bad i didnt commit to white earlier, as i was all over the board with picks. As well, ive splashed psychic frog in about 3 decks now. Such a fun card! I will comment more, probably, but now, onto watching your play. And Jesus christ but I've been bouncing my tablet off my head all of game 4 due to falling asleep. My apologies as the deck looked fun, but you got matched up with superior versions. Sucks. Ah well. Potw for me would be the kill spell. I still like murder with maybe upside. I was also just thinking how much I wish you all the best on growing the channel, but conversely, for my own pure greediness, hope that you stay just as likeable and real when you blow up. I'm sorry Draft Punks, as I leave you for about 3 weeks, because I'm going on a sort of a walkabout. Almost no internet, certainly no Magic, just Not So Great plains where horizon is dizzingly flat, sun doesn't just hits you, it smashes you to pieces and the only reprieve is wet mud that goes up to a knee and under the skin. Maybe there, completely removed from Magic, from drafting, from grinding I'll get the meaning of it all. Adios, Chrysalis, see you never. As for me, I leave here tomorrow for an unknown destination.

How did that pack three string ever happen in this format? Just unreal how you luck sack into that kind of thing! Inconceivable! Really the only thing missing from this deck was the 2 mana dorks and the 4 mana green enchantment that makes spawns, and gains life when you cast big things. Otherwise, it just seemed a bit low on interaction, which is always my issue with this format thus far. Still, it's great watching you guys just enjoy the games together. Too bad you don't have access to Adrian's closet anymore. Ah well, we can't all win all the time. As well, I tend to start my comments as soon as I open the videos, then, depending on whatever I feel like letting you know about how I think. Randomly. As MH3 discussion becomes a bit stale, and we're rapidly approaching spoiler season event horizon, when could be a better time for a funny hypothetical than now? Let's pit against eachother two of the most influential game designers in the nerd sphere, that became very prominent in the 90s, revolutionized their respective medias and now kinda don't do anything. Richard Garfield and Sid Meier. Both oiled up, who's winning the proverbial twerk off? Now I know it would sound sacrilegious on the MTG channel, but I'll go for Sid Meier. While Garfield did invent a whole new type of media, I feel like it very quickly stagnated, while Meier's contribution to 4x genre of strategy games led to a more diverse and interesting results. And what have Garfield even made after Magic? Keyforge? Artifact? I really don't get what he was cooking with that one. While Meier's made not only Civilization, but Pirate games and even Golf games. More over there are six, soon to be seven Civilization games, but there's no MTG2. And as Sam can tell you, 7>1.
