Tried mio, quickset, sure t. Mio and quickset are pretty similar. Sure t is by FAR the worst system. More painful, uncomfortable having 2 contact points, more risky with the metal, has to be replaced quicker

the metal needle stays inside you?????!!!!!

Yeah ouch. I could be mistaken, but it's for folks who are very lean, minimal fat. Seems like it would hurt if you bend over.

Nice video, I put on my Freestyle Libre 14days glucose sensor with NightRider! It's so good because 1) It shows if your sugars are trending up or down. 2) Give alarms if you go too low or too high. It is an amazing tool.

A lot still needs to be done to advance the treatment of diabetes and obtain a cure. This can be done sooner than later with funds available. I have had Type One Diabetes for over 75 years. I hope for more advances not only for me and my daughter but for everyone living with this disease and those persons facing diabetes in the future!

Bonjour. Merci pour la vidéo. Question : Existe-t-il des cartouches d'insuline pré-remplies directement que l'on peut acheter en pharmacie et bien évidemment compatible avec la pompe Medtronic 640g ? Merci bcp. Cordialement

I loved your work so much! I have been trying to search for vid similar to yours that really explains the ideas in this KZbin vid! 🩺Your explanation totally is similar to the vids from this educational Dr. Ethan. His videos are totally helpful and he actually helped me on my school. He is the helpful Doctor in Europe and he talks about diseases. I recommend you see his channel out and give the Dr a like! 👉 #DrEthanNews

It actually feels just like an injection when you insert it, and when it's in you can barely feel it at all

I started on the MiniMed 640G a few months ago, after having used the ACCU-Chek Spirit Combo for probably 7 years. The MiniMed is a good pump, especially when combined with a sensor. However, I miss the function of being able to manually type in injected insulin (which the Spirit Combo allowed), so you can keep track of active insulin and insulin statistics if you have to take a manual injection for whatever reason. It would be particularly useful right now, as fiasp insulin (extra fast acting insulin) has become available. It's extremely useful when eating fast acting carbs at a birthday or whatever, but it gives me a lot of annoying side effects, like local insulin resistence after only two days of pumping, stinging pain when bolusing and local irritation, and it leaves a hard lump under the skin after pumping a few days. I would like to move back to NovoRapid (NovoLog) as my pump insulin because it left me with no side effects, but I would also like to have the opportunity to manually inject fiasp when I'm going to eat fast acting carbs to stop my BG from peaking, while having my pump keep track of it as well.

When the Insulin goes through the pump say like before you’re supposed to eat does it take a long time to go through because mine took like over two hours and I already ate my lunch and everything I mean it went really slow so is that supposed to go slow
