Hello . On some websites they write that sperafishing is illegal on the island of Phuket and especially on Koh Samui. Is this true? Is Koh Samui a national park or is fishing prohibited?

I don't spearfish so u don't know but there are marine reserves where it is illegal but this was in a legal area.

It was in a Marine reserve so unfortunately we weren't allowed to fish of any kind but that does sound fun.

@@jellytempest543 For saltwater the best and easiest way to catch fish is just take a small hook and a split shot use some prawn pieces like the size of ur pinky nail and use that. For freshwater the a good option is a small soft plastic paddle tail max 2.5” u can just reel it and pause then reel again. in or let it sink to the bottom and then twitch ur rod up and down whilst reeling to hop the bottom. That’s always a good starter place for beginners
