Downright amazing. Been practicing the last 48 hours. Some videos suggest sticking the tongue up. I can realiser a pretty good whistle with that but I feeling it that both approaches will work. The airflow and tight lip seem to be the key.
@amarokker2 күн бұрын
It looks like it works the same way like a flute. Your lower lip splits the airflow which comes through a very thin space created with your upper teeth and your tongue. That's the theory. I can play the flute but I can't whistle. Yet. Thanks for the video!

Its good to have a DB tonbe like oh who was that amazing hairstyleest from waco, skills are not easy to hire out, i like to know the people and trust thier abilities if my films are going to be done in my style as im not wasting a million when 200k will do when used conciously correct. My app will be avle to utilize 3 camera 3 scenes being shot simultaneously utilizing all talent and skills available, so much wasted time on sets and equipment and peiple skills being wasted... I have a vision ofna better way. Thanks to automation

You can add credits i don't think it's a con it's a resume. Builder. Amd a reminder of all the people you worked with for networking i think every film should be credited with optioon to hide it but its silly in todays networking online. social worldyhat they dont, as ita one of the issues of why were short on sets for backup. This attitude of you. Work til you get s seaking role than your networked in is odd to me, i love background anf acting and sound amd lighting, but not sure why thats frowned upon but it needs to chamge cause OLDHW rules are not set in stone.

@davidpatrickgreen531926 күн бұрын
Important tip is to make sure there is a little space below your tongue and let some of the air enter that space. It really requires a chamber above and below your tongue to create the whistle.

Something new I learned is there also needs to be a small gap between your bottom lip and your tongue. So you have a chamber above your tongue and a small one below. Try sealing and unsealing your tongue and lip and you will see how it goes from nothing to something

Blowing across a bottle doesn’t work well for me. Putting my tongue in the bevel position is easy. Placing my lower lip over my bottom teeth is easy. Whistling this way doesn’t work for me at all.

Great in-depth stuff! One finger whistle is pretty easy, it can be done with index finger hook and tongue below finger. That's musical whistling technique with good range, and can be also very loud. In Japan it's known as "yubibue". Check it out, you'll love it!

Great video. on my second attempt now about 2 years later I was able to make whistling sounds after about 30 minutes of hard blowing which was not necessary it doesn't take power to make whistle and sound you have to be relaxed and a proper lip and tongue positioning will make the whistle sound with air flowing through...

professional jobs are never filled on those sites. The only way to get them is to know someone involved (the best way) or be submitted by your agent (second best way and much harder to do).

I’ve worked in construction my entire life. Had money saved and took a year to train my but off (at one point, 4 separate classes per week), worked on over a dozen student/indie short films, several of which turned out really well and I’m quite proud of, got headshots and eventually an agent. I’ve now booked three principal roles, two supporting roles on union films and one co-star on a union tv show. Things are going well and im chasing my dream. But… I need a gig that makes money. I started doing BG work. Now im conflicted. I don’t know if I should do something else. My other option is construction, or work at a cafe or something. Neither of which “forwards my acting career.” I want to be a serious professional working actor. I’m concerned casting or producers might get to know me as a BG and not take me seriously, or maybe I might get heavily featured as BG on shows which might conflict with me getting cast on them later. I’m still unsure!! Can someone give me more clarity!?
