id be paranoid there was atleast some grit in that giant oil bowl, much less my hands. no need to slather the thing in so much of it! just a small amount on the rings and a quick wipe of the bores is more than enough. and strangely other areas like the crank they put together bone-dry . turning it over like that cannot be good for the bearings.

Ricordo da più giovane (anni fa)' che c'era da fare attenzione al gisto posizionamento del tubo della pompa olio , al giusto precarico dei cuscinetti poi le "TIS" delle forcelle l' asta interlook del gruppo " Range" ( moltiplicatore posteriore) la giusta spessorazione dell' asta per il pistone pneumatico per "mezza marcia split " ( kostante1 / K 2) ecc ecc . Poi noi avevamo un attrezzo che tiravamo su i 2 alberi insieme . Mi e piaciuto rivedere quel cambio qui ormai scomparso ❤❤

Always pure water on the cooling system. Here in Brasil we have regions hot like Pakistan but always use aditive on the coolong system Just to prevent rust.
