Das ist Abbau und vor allem ist das ein Zeitraffer. Sollte klar sein, dass der Abbau mindestens 5 bis 6 Stunden in Anspruch nimmt, wenn es schnell gehen muss.

Hi you could tell me how to configure the SUR40 in ubuntu. It was because I deleted my windows 7 systems and I want ubunto but I'm not so good in the terminal would explain me step by step Thank you very much
@floemuc8 жыл бұрын
There's not much to do, install Ubuntu 16.04 as per the instructions here: www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/install-ubuntu-desktop Afterwards, touch input should work out-of-the-box, and you also have a video device for showing the raw data.

Hello I have a samsung south 40, unfortunately, my boss formatted it to install Windows 8, and tried to make it work, but I do not have it, since I lack input from the input driver from the processor. "Vision Input Processor" Do you have any idea how to make it work? How am I supposed to connect the USB Vision input processor?
@floemuc8 жыл бұрын
juancho rodriguez Send me an email, I have the original driver files. However, no guarantees that it will actually work in Win8.
Good morning Florian Echtler Sorry to have to disturb I want to know if it is possible to help me with the driver or something that helps me to properly run the surface 2.0

In theory, yes. But indivdual fingers are very close to the Kinect's resolution limit, so it won't be very reliable.
@TheZarion00712 жыл бұрын
does this have the ability to sense the depth of your finger press or pen press? Like in a graphics tablet that senses thousands of degrees of pressure?
@ckleaf12 жыл бұрын
My apologies. I was confused that a VM running windows is needed receive to the touches. Are you able to receive the finger touches in Linux when putting the sur40 in hdmi mode ? My experience in Windows is that the finger touches are not sent to the application and the sur40 becomes just a very expensive display output. Thanks in advance.
@floemuc12 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I don't quite get the question. The screen is connected internally via USB, and when you want to run a virtual machine on the Pixelsense, you have to connect the "MS Vision Input Processor" USB device to the VM.
@ckleaf12 жыл бұрын
Hi, Are you connecting from an external machine to the PixelSense or the Microsoft Vision Input Processor is still needed running within a windows virtual machine? Thanks.

LKB kind of lets you use surfaces in such a manner.
@floemuc12 жыл бұрын
Are you sure you're talking about the 40 inch Surface (which is now called PixelSense)? If so, then you will probably need to reinstall the SurfaceOEM.msi package, which should be somewhere on your original install DVD.

That's intentional: if you look close, the fingertip coordinates are marked by green crosses and the centroids by red ones. The palm doesn't get fingertip coordinates (or to be precise, they're equal to the centroid).
@ChrisDruif12 жыл бұрын
It seems to count the palm of the hand as well? Is that intentional and/or has it a negative effect on the response?

We have own solution for Gesture Recognition Interface with Stereo Camera. We don't use prime sense solution as laser sensor. Our New solution doesn't have Calibration step and Skeleton that mean it is easy to apply any general purpose usage. Get in my place!!

@Inversions51 hmm, you'd also need a projection screen and the kinect wouldn't be able to see through that...

@Ghazkul666 Actually Microsoft didn't invent or research this, they expanded upon technology purchased from PrimeSense (an israeli military technology firm). PrimeSense is in fact, as we speak developing their own "Kinect" for PC use, in collaboration with Asus (i believe). But sure, it probably cost them a pretty penny (considering the kinect was meant for military application to start with - but hey, so was the internet... right?)

Excellent work. The goal seems to be a Mirority Report type of experience but I've maintained since very early on that a ghost would be required in the absence of a head-mounted display... or holograms. I think your video would benefit a great deal from a more visible ghost image. I found it very difficult to see the overlay throughout most of the video. Perhaps you could tint or darken the image and post another clip. Keep up the good work!

@Ghazkul666 I agree but the 200% added to the fabrication price is just overkill

@Ghazkul666 Dude thank you for trying to explain this to people out there! Microsoft isn't even forcing 360 users to buy the Kinect but so many people complain about the price for stupid reasons. Yes it IS a little pricey, but its not like you HAVE to buy it......just ignorant people out there...

Why are people so into this technology? M.R. was a movie. A movie is a visual experience. So the movie designers came up with an interface design that would look cool visually (instead of somebody typing on the keyboard). They did the same for Avatar's...again, for visual story telling purposes. In reality, this is not an efficient way to work. Try raising your arms in front of the screen and wave for more than 10min. Unless you work out daily, you will get tired quick.
