That’s so stupid technology, and the company have a tarrif that cheap at off peak time, but they charge you with higher then standard rate , during the day , like a rate above standard tarrif

If the insulation worked, they'd be okay. As it is, the whole concept of storage heaters is nonsensical. You may as well try to collect and store light.

I recently did my attic at home. It's a little over 50sqm with 4 difficult to access dormer windows. I put in one layer of 100mm top up insulation at 90 degrees to the joists. Working on my own it took me 3 days spending around 4 hours each day.
