I worked for circle K in two different locations. They mention in the onboarding about this scene and how it’s one of the original stores from back when Fred Hervey bought a handful of Kay’s stores in El Paso, then the first expansion was to New Mexico and Arizona in the late 50s so essentially the original stores or at least the oldest ones would be located in those places. Super cool detail.

Good tv. Good morales, good lessons that were taught with that show

This doesn't make any sense. How do stranded women know the current sound, styles, and dances? Remember: three-hour tour. They have too many clothes, a record player? Records? Pathetic.

Guys, come back and do this song for the people one time. They are all still living so why not relieve it? You think they can do it?

I LOVE Alice's reaction to seeing the kids on TV! Eyes wide open... "Mrs. Brady! Mrs. Brady! Come here quick! The kids are on television!" Ah, to be 5 years old again and being able to drool over the sight of Marcia, Jan and Cindy. Those young ladies were my whole world back then.

Look at that rat's nest of cords all over the floor in front of them. It must have taken some next level coordination/body awareness to be performing while still avoiding that OSHA hazard.

I remember in the early 70s as a young kid I used to come home from school and watch Superman, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Get Smart, The Brady Bunch and so many more. It was a great time to be young, so innocent.

Same for my brother and I. My mother hated all the American shows we loved. Anyway my brother has gone on to be a cartoon creator, director and was super influenced by all the t.v shows you mentioned plus the flintstones , bananna splits , puff n stuff etc. Halcyon days indeed.

I loved this family as a kid as they were a real family that many kids longed for so badly. Escapism definitely and a tiny respite from the reality that was so different to the world of the Brady family.

Did the movie just use this recording? It sounds VERY similar.
