I met Joel as a kid at a show at the Senior Citz hall in Gympie. Amity played a Bled cover (I think?) and I got all the pit calls. It's so great hearing you guys talk about these bands and scenes, especially Shai Hulud. Joel recommended Shai Hulud to me as a teenager and they're still one of my all time favourite bands so hearing him talk about them in this podcast was awesome. It's a shame I only got to it now 2 years later! Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
