@@nickryland4602 We now use the yellow wands for visibility against our orange vests. We still do the circling motion for the INOP apu. At night we utilize the strobe effect on the wands for the INOP API.

there is not Air Starter there so its just the color of wands they use

We do our best to get the bags out to baggage claim. The scanning helps us as well making sure if the bag has to stay on if the plane is continuing on as the same flight number. Then sometimes we have issues with our equipment which can take awhile. But yeah each person has an important role to play out in the ramp from handling bags, stocking the snacks, and handling the lavatories.

@@lsubandtrumpet2014 I use a GoPro Hero 9. I think here in PHX feels different since we have "dry" heat. I guarantee the tarmac is near those temps. But it's worse when you have a plane that's been sitting at the gate for hours and turns into an oven.

Thanks hopefully I'll keep uploading as time goes on. The lavs are usually taken care of by mostly senior agents. I recently done them and had no issues...until it's time to dump it.

The powerstow is a wonderful piece of equipment we get to use. But sometimes you don't have to use especially on the -800/ MAX 8, so you use the regular belt loader and have a second person to help.

Sounds like a great story...we should be collecting these. Modern stuff has made our work "easier", and more productive....maybe we should bear some of the fruits of these more productive situations.

@@pbshooter93 Great! I admire the ramp folks from the window on the plane. That's a rough job. As you were manipulating the headsets, plugging in external air, attaching the tail stand, and the tug and stuff, I was imagining you doing it during a blowing snowstorm. Rough work. I'm guessing the airport is PHX. My SWA airport is MDW, so the snowstorm stuff doesn't really apply down there...

I believe it's a hard job that's easy to do. It is PHX. Working in a snowstorm is grueling work but work here in the summer is extremely hard with tarmac temps hovering 130+.

Where do they put the wheelchairs or rollator on the plane if they fold up?

Wheelchairs and strollers are placed most of the time B-bin which is located in the forward cargo hold. But sometimes they are placed in E-bin which is the aft depending on the aircraft and weight and balance.

I have a 4Runner also. Absolutely love it

I've been buying in since the way early 90s. A good friend gave me a Skinny puppy / KMFDM / Ministry mix tape and it was game over at that point. You should look in Discogs there are plenty of CDs on there but WDYKD rarely shows up.
