Sounds cool. TV series gives the time for that. To write a large amount of important characters isn't easy to pull off. But when Marlon Brando played Superman's daddy, everyone got mad at him on set because he made it look easy. IDK.

Disney forgot that Stars Wars is based on a true story. So when they put an ideological and convinient spin on it, it loses that quality of the human being reflecting in general and not fragmentary.
@DosIncredibles9 күн бұрын
I'm guessing Disney has more "focus groups" than "creatives". Would be curious what Walt would think. Guess is they unfreeze him and reanimate, we may find out haha
@WingZeroDuality9 күн бұрын
@ it would interesting, huh? Walt created for the generation of kids born into and during the aftermath of WWII😮. The underlying thing was welcoming these kids into a world that can be free from conflict and no matter how dark things get when they learn about 'what happened', they'll be alright. But that post WWII hope has run its course...😮🤔

The clone wars was created while George Lucas still owned the franchise…
@DosIncredibles9 күн бұрын
The Clone Wars is fantastic. As was Rebels. Lucas animation for TV was on point. This is more about live action. Mando Season 1 and 2 were exceptions to the rule. At heart though, Lucas was a film maker.
@kasaundraleitch62929 күн бұрын
@ that’s fair however I still feel as though you’re overlooking Andor. Regardless the issue isn’t so much Star Wars shouldn’t be a show and more so Disney doesn’t value its properties enough to do anything but pump out low quality series to try and make money on subscriptions from their most loyal fans. Andor and Mando have shown the series can work really well as a show when it doesn’t focus on catering to the widest audience and stops the never ending nostalgia bait.
@DosIncredibles9 күн бұрын
You have a very good point there. That may be more of the issue. I think a segment of the audience was trained to expect that Star Wars has to be at a level that a corporation like Disney may never be able to reach. Yet Grogu was post-Lucas and hit very similar levels of popularity in the SW Universe. When Mando and Grogu hit theaters, that may be change everything again.
This sounds like it can be a perfect soundtrack for some sort of spooky, Scooby-Doo-ish, sleuthish, "whodunit"-type thriller or something like that. 💯🔥👍🏽

It's not necessarily better than ALL of the Will Smith/Martin Lawrence "Bad Boy" films put together (dude in the grey hat sounded like a bonafide hater saying that truth be told), but otherwise yeah, "Bad Boys" with Sean Penn and Esai Morales is actually a pretty good movie though.
@DosIncredibles2 ай бұрын
Haha. Truth be told, I (grey hat) do like all the Bad Boys movies. (The last one that came out (RoD) was GREAT). I just wanted an excuse to talk about the forgotten Bad Boys. Not sure if it's the same studio but I'd love to combine those universes with an Old Sean Penn making an appearance.
@alsimmons45042 ай бұрын
@@DosIncredibles Oh ok, I hear ya man lol. After watching both films, I've come to enjoy them both on two completely different levels for entirely different reasons. The one with Sean Penn and Esai Morales was pretty good while the ones with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were also classics for a reason too and as for a shared universe/crossover between them? Hmm, sounds pretty interesting, but how would it even make any sense is the question though?. 🤔
@DosIncredibles2 ай бұрын
I feel like booking Esai Morales as as an older, reformed Paco Moreno, trying to prevent a grandson from heading to a life of crime. His grandson gets wrapped up with a Miami cartel, which leads Paco to go to Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett for help to take down the cartel and save his Grandson. They too are looking to retire but decide to go for a BAD BOYS: Last Ride
@alsimmons45042 ай бұрын
@@DosIncredibles Hmmm, that actually does sound like a pretty good basis/setup for the premise of a crossover between the two "Bad Boys" films. Another possible alternate route to go in is if Esai Morales' Paco Moreno became far worse as he got older and is still after Sean Penn's Mick O'Brian which thus forces the latter to have to seek out the help of both Will Smith's and Martin Lawrence's respective characters, Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, in finally taking down/taking out Paco for good this time out or something like that.
