you should really be spraying on skin or fabric to get the true notes and scent payoff. Spraying on paper gives a completely different scent.

Lately I also have this feeling that I prefer to choose scents that are simple, but with great quality ingredients. And I think this is generally a bit of a trend in perfumery lately. Aurelien Guichard, the creator of Matiere Premiere, said that many people he knows have given up using scents altogether, because the compositions can be overwhelming, too complicated and he stated that he wants to create scents that people understand, that they understand and can name what they smell like. I was just thinking about you the other day and hoping that a new video would come soon and here you are! Congratulations on you new home! Interesting video as always. I'm curious about Linda Landenberg's fragrances, but never had the chance of testing them myself! So to hear your take on them is really helpful. Having grown up in Sweden, I am never searching for the "Nordicness" in my fragrances, rather the opposite. I want to escape it by diving into scents with totally different associations. But these fragrances sound complex enough to be intriguing nonetheless!

tindrer is on my list. i had perverso extrait but it's just too offputting for my surroundings. the heavy ambergris is almost fishy

For cat fur I would recommend Bengale Rouge by Papillon. Liz Moore’s inspiration for this scent was her Bengale cat. It is a warm, cuddly and yet elegant fragrance that is very comforting and stays close to skin. A bit less animalic than the before mentioned L’ombre Fauve, which i also rate very highly. I have just found ¥our channel and I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos.

I agree with your assessment. I cannot stand “Another 13” and JHAG “Not a Perfume”. I liked the Lavander and the Lys from Le Labo with Bergamote a close 3rd. Tonka was nice was but did not move me. The rest are ok except for then 2 most hated ones I already mentioned 😂 Edit: btw I found myself at Le Labo counter smelling Lys after the sticker shock of Frederic Malles Lys Mediterranee which is GORGEOUS. I’d say the Le Labo Lys is a cheaper fix for those priced out of a Malle fragrance.

The overall ambiance of your videos is second to none :) so enjoyable, relaxing and exiting in a soothing way. My mum is watching me from up there, too ... I have Rouge Ultime and I love it, wish it was a bit more cocoa focused. I was debating between the original Rouge but fell in love with Cemélia K so much, having both seems redundant. Fueguia is a unique house in my opinion, La Cautiva was my fave so far but there are so much more to try ❤

I love peach dominate perfumes but it seems to be a hard note to pull off without going into sweet, juvenile territory. L'Artisan Parfumeur's looks promising

Meliora is very similar to Lalique Amethyst I have heard, as it is made by the same perfumer. Something about it seemed like over ripe chilled fruit to me and just didn’t work. But I can see how others might enjoy.
