I have to ask this, why do seagull models produce models that are mainly I.C when almost everyone wants brushless??? I think seagull’s quality and value is good but I’m not interested in I.C or interested in conversions

Because not everyone wants to fly electric, as a business, factories have to manufactures products that will sell, and that actually says what people mostly want. An electric Super Chipmunk would be horrible, mine will have gas and smoke pump. The thing is the amount of fields which do not accept IC engines, which drives the belief that people always prefer electric. My opinion of course.

@@goodboyringo9716 If they can do a much better job at a price I'm all for it. I have a couple of their models and the quality is good, the planes fly well. I also have a Sig 100 built from a kit, the quality was so atrocious that I recut all the ribs plus a few other parts. Die cut is not die crushed and a complaint to them is still yet to receive a response.

I have built numerous planes from scratch, both balsa and foam core, I would have been better off building a 100" glider from scratch as it cost extra to complete the SIG If they build to much higher quality at a better price then having two already I would buy more if needed. The US cheap foamies at a premium.

I'm asking the same question. I have a 30 twin, and from the video's I've seen, a 30 gas would be okay, just no radical maneuvers that a 35, or 40 would give it! Just my opinion from being in RC from 1974, and an x-pattern guy.
