@@zodd5977 it's honestly preference on what you can put into the slots opened by the limit on prospy. Either more hand traps, a couple of board breakers, or even consistency pieces. I'd have to sit down and rework the deck and find all the options for those slots, so for now I'd recommend experimenting while I also do some cooking behind the scenes. Sorry for the long winded response, but I've been a bit busy with stuff outside of KZbin and yugioh, so I haven't had time to really look at everything I need to rework. 😅

@@zodd5977 those are good ideas, and I'd also consider bystials or even d.d. crow just because of fiendsmith still being around. Even with the hit to lacrima and appo, being able to stop fiendsmith from doing their thing isn't a bad shout.

@@EndeeShadow that's my bad. When I recorded this I was feeling ill and I still am rn. I'm also still trying to learn the deck myself and I'll get there eventually.

@@readytogetricked1767 and there's nothing wrong with that. Everyone's list will vary with madlove and a few other things. I just found the deck to play better and feel nicer with 3 madlove personally. You can 100000% try the deck with 2 madlove.

@@robotic-race had to take a read of the card again. It's been over a month since I made the deck profile, and honestly, done anything Yu-Gi-Oh related. I'm sorry that I made the mistake and I'll try to improve.

@@robotic-race burnout has not been nice to me in the slightest. I've not really forgotten anything, just have a hard time really putting effort into it.

Because hydrant searches an rescue-ace card and having to burn your normal to use it's search means searching the actual monster that combos would be useless.

I thought I had a full 15, but that last slot can be either another super poly target or it can be a finish like access code or borrelsword depending on how much you'd want to spend.

A lot of the higher performance decks have ways to play around it by either having their end board be essentially unharmed by nibiru, or they don't summon enough in the main phase for nibiru to matter. It comes up as a dead card most of the time, and it hurts the deck more than it helps because of the reliance on hydrant being on the board. Hence why when I get around to making a combo tutorial/test hand video, I'll explain both a line that plays under nib and one that extends into nib.

My bad on that one. I would probably swap to running 3 chain then and cut maybe an aluber or something in the illusion package, as well as adding another frightfur patchwork. Could probably just add them and not take anything out really. I do appreciate this and like I said in the video, I'm not the greatest in the world with this deck, so I appreciate you pointing out my mistakes.

Not a problem man! It's a deck I've enjoyed testing out in my spare time. I have other decks in the works I would say are better than this deck is though, so keep an eye out.

Everytime I've played against someone that was playing the deck as well, they chained as well and in most replays I see, they use the cards in the chain because both are effects that trigger at the same time. Just like how crusadia draco and magius activate on the summon of draco, you get to choose how a chain link is created. That's how the consensus has been as far as I'm aware.

@@Ghost_556phase specific effects can start a chain but they can’t stack. If they’re doing it this way they are wrong. I thought the same at first but simulators prove me otherwise. You can ask a head judge if you want.

The combos are a bit lack luster, but this is a deck that I really enjoyed putting together simply because I'm an avid gem-knight enjoyer.

Next week my man. But you didn't hear that from me.

I use to. I occasionally get on every now and again, but siege isn't that appealing anymore.

@@Ghost_556 thanks I just thought since it would prevent summonable hand traps from being a bother as long as they have 1000 or less Atk, that it would be a great addition to the deck.

I'm planning on maybe playing the dogmatika list for the deck simply for budget reasons, but I do really like this list. Makes me want to consider picking up more copies of the structure deck just to play dogmatika fire king and keep this list together.

In all of my testing, of which is quite a lot, I rarely brick. This deck has a way to just keep going and keep going. I'm sorry if you keep having issues with the list, but this is my preferred way to play the deck.

@@kangsta3893 if imsety wasn't $50 a piece still, I'd give it a shot, but unfortunately with how tight I am on money most of the time, it's hard to justify purchasing expensive engines. I appreciate the suggestion of the horus engine though. I like Horus as an engine, but maybe in other decks.

I tested the deck heavily before making the profile and I'll agree it needs more handtraps, but the called by and cross out help with the fragility of your combo lines by preventing you from losing to a few blow out handtraps. I like the idea of making room for them, but in testing I would still over draw handtraps in 45 cards.

I surprisingly have few hands that are bricks. As long as you open dangers and dark worlds, you'll be fine. It's more about how lucky you are. It's a fun build and I don't see it making competitive success, but I like the build more than the 40 card build that uses gen and ken.

@@ratazanadodeserto That's why I love this build. It can do so much and feels like you've always got gas. This deck is also completely legal in MD, so if you wanna deck people out without playing runick, this is a fun option.

I've only seen people use lubellion in paper, so I had no clue if he was an activated effect or inherent since most people I've watched declare his summon as an effect. And I completely blanked on the gaia xyz as an option. I would play that over the one rank 4 in the extra 100 times out of 10.

I had no clue I hadn't already done one! I sure will make one though. I think I was putting it off until I upgraded my list of just 3 structure decks, but I'll gladly make a combo/test hand video for that deck!

I've only opened two boxes and each box has had a copy of the Salamangreat of fire. However, variance will always be a thing, so just because I went 2/2 on boxes with fire doesn't mean every box will have fire. For all I know, I could've just gotten really lucky to get the pulls I got from both boxes. :)
