Cody is a big fan of acoustic drums and live mikes except kick system which is needed to maintain the perfect tone at all times. Killer live sound!!! I think he sleeps with his Pro-1Vs too but don’t tell anyone!! Met that dude at wildwood in iowa city in summer 2023. Coolest fucker ever. Showed me his blast beat snare technique on a piece of a plastic hose reel we found by their trailer. Just how you would want your hero to be just like when i met vinnie paul.

I met JR back in April of this year at the Ottobar in Baltimore Maryland during the 4/20 weekend shows. I was walking from the bar up the street with my dad, and I saw him there. I asked him if It was really him, and he nodded yes. with excitement, I asked him for a photo and he happily agreed and he said "What are we doing? Metal face?". JR was such a cool and nice guy and I'm very grateful I met him.
