I agree Guntur is neglected primarily due to its proximity to Vijayawada. Though this fact may hurt some people, it's the actual fact. The intention of making this video is to show my city, my hometown to all. Doesn't matter to me how it is. My love towards this city will be the same. I hope we get to see a very developed city in the future. The second largest city in the state by area deserves it. And in the future will try to cover any such advancements.

Kailash fort,one of oldest fort in india.known for Jagdamba bhawani canon,longest of its time.Also has Rani mahal,3 temples,4 wells,lot of godowns n other structures inside.Scenic lake adjacent to fort.Fort badly neglected by Telangana n Andhra govt.Fort n surrounding forest has tremendous Tourism potential.COLONEL .

Kailash Fort,Kandhar Fort n Mahurgad Fort were given as Jagir to brave Rajput king Raja kr Gopal singh gaur who was an associate of Nizam first,Asaf jah.Forts were given as Jagir after his Brave fight during battle of BALAPUR,Shaker kheda n Raksas Bhawan in 1724,1763 AD.

Kailash fort constructed by Rashtra kutas n kakatiyas n Gaur Rajputs destroyed by Muslims n Britishers.Most of temples inside n outside destroyed by Aurangazeb etc.Thanks to my ancestors n family members Fort is in Safe hands.😊

Brief hist Kailash Fort from 1857 onwards. Krantiveer Raja kr Deep singh gaur attacked Brits residency in1857 n was jailed for 3 yrs Nizam who was puppet of brits didn't like it too.Thereafter,Raja Durjan,Rani sone kunwar bai,Raja Jagat n Raja Daulat ,Raja Shivdan inherited the Fort n lands inside Fort.Inside Fort 60 acres land still with our family.Fort with govt.

Hi Ravi thanks for your information actually my Great Grandfather was appointed by Nizam Killedar Custodian of Kowlas Fort then my Father Moin uddin cowlas until 1948 then migrated to Pakistan. In 1915 the fiefdom was declared khalsa (meaning directly under the rule of the Nizam ).[3] The annual revenue of the fiefdom was then 22,517 rupees.[citation needed] The Nizams appointed a Kiladar (fort administrator) Maulvi Muhammad Jamaluddin Sheikh Mirza of Turkish descent belonging to the Barlas clan.[6] He was also the Kiladar of Daulatabad Fort, succeeding his maternal grandfather the Mughal Prince Mirza Muhammad Jamaluddin Bahadur. His son Moinuddin Cowlas held the position of Kiladar until 1948 Annexation of Hyderabad. However my father changed his spelling of Sirname due to migration after Operation Polo.

We are planning to visit Nagarjuna Sagar next week. 1. Is it good time to visit the dam to witness any chance of gates open? 2. Since, we will do day trip, what is the order in which you suggest we can cover the following places and return to Hyderabad by evening. We want to cover left and right earth dam, Ethipothala Waterfalls and Buddhavanam. Any important temples you can suggest?

As it isn't raining much do not expect the gates to open. I would suggest visiting in this order: Ethiopthala, Buddhavanam and the Sagar.

Also, Left and Right Earth dam is mentioned as Left and Right Canal Dam in Google Maps. Are they the same? I hope they are allowing us to get to closest viewpoint from the Dam. Any famous temple to visit near Nagarjuna Sagar?
