How much of a difference is it from when you had it stock?
@Superspeed813
@Superspeed813 Ай бұрын
It’s a noticeable difference the car feels way more responsive now. The biggest change for me is the sound the exhaust note is glorious with the long tube headers!

Any overheating issues?
@Superspeed813
@Superspeed813 Ай бұрын
I’ve had 0 issues with over heating that issue mainly affected the earlier auto trans c7z’s. The 2018-19’s came with a larger heat exchanger from the factory if I’m not mistaken.

The exterior looks brand new. Do you have paint correction, full PPF, and ceramic coat? Looks like yours is 3LZ? Watch out for dash delamination... that's what I'm dealing with right now... What made you go with 2 inch headers vs 1 7/8?
@Superspeed813
@Superspeed813 Ай бұрын
Thank you! Car just has Ceramic coating no PPF at the moment. I am keeping an eye on the dash the car sits in the garage most of the time so I’m hoping I can avoid the dash issue. It was recommended to me that I go with 2 inch headers being the car is boosted. The gains are marginal in comparison to going 1 7/8 on the current set up tbh. The plan is to upgrade to a maggy 2650 the gains will be more noticeable with the larger blower so I went with the 2 inch knowing that’s coming sometime in the future.
@tylerstewart4600
@tylerstewart4600 Ай бұрын
@Superspeed813 @Superspeed813 thanks for the reply. I'll probably be doing headers next year and this is what I'm researching now. I've heard that you go with the 2 inch if you are planning big power as it comes into play with more horsepower closer you get to 1000, but if you aren't planning big power the 1 7/8 provide more torque. Had not heard about the 2 inch being in general benefit in boosted applications. Still researching. Beautiful car! I had a shadow grey metallic gen 6 camaro before my z and I miss that color. I'm sure you are also aware, be careful with those crack prone stock wheels. I have a very slow leak in my back right. Could be this shit run flat tire on it but the wheel issue is well documented. Planning out replacement set now.

That car performs well like an American Olympic athlete, but with tires and suspension, instead of shoes and muscle. I'd take care of it if I were you, that driving style (which I can understand) can get you a lot of attention, as well as unwanted attention! Great stuff man!

Over 6 ft with the seat pretty much all the way back you have decent head room and leg room it’s not too bad. The competition seats go back pretty far.
